Okay you know what annoys me? A few months ago I posted a comment on a youtube video where I said the one wing on sephiroth in smash is inspired by advent children but it actually originated in kingdom hearts so that series is technically represented in smash.

Anyways I now got like five replies today alone all saying something along the lines of “well this aged poorly” YES, I CAN TELL SORA IS IN SMASH! How about you look at the five thousand other comments saying the exact same thing? And plus c’mon you’re just explaining the obvious here. This annoys me ally more than is probably should but still don’t do that.

I feel like waluigi is actually one of the most hated ideas for a new character that actually has a good chance of getting in. Except for a certain user on this site I feel like I’ve barely seen that many people who want him unironically. I have, however, seen a lot of people say they hate the idea of him getting in.

If I made a roster for a hypothetical marvel vs capcom 4 game one of the first cuts I would make would be strider hiryu. I love the strider game but man I really don’t think he’s the kind of character that absolutely needs to be in every mvc game and he certainly doesn’t need to be in future ones that badly.

After his role in the mvci story mode I’ve always felt like grand master meio could make a pretty good fighter and so I think I might even add him before hiryu

A star wars dynasty warriors game could be kinda cool but man it would be boring to play. Warriors games already struggle with making play styles different and having unique characters so making one of a series where pretty much all the characters would use one of two weapons (lightsabers and blasters) would be pretty boring.

Of course there are some characters that could be unique but they wouldn’t be enough to really give it that much variety.

About the kingdom hearts on switch thing…

Switch ports that use cloud gaming are a good thing when the game absolutely couldn’t run otherwise, but I assure you, PS2 games can run on switch fine.

I used to be in favor of the next smash game being an enhanced port of Ultimate but after the final presentation I just aren’t anymore.

So much of the presentation was about the fact that this is the last part of the game, they went above and beyond to show us how important this is to us and how it’s finally over, and picked a character who is almost perfect for the final slot. It just wouldn’t be right to make them work on it further after the big send-off ultimate got.

Smash ultimate has never seemed like a celebration of the smash series to me. It’s more a celebration of the gaming industry and doesn’t really have the same heart as the previous games.

That’s why I think the next game should truly be a celebration of the smash series. Not nintendo, not the game industry, Smash Bros. And I want this celebration to be more in terms of modes and aesthetic than just stages and characters
