I used to be in favor of the next smash game being an enhanced port of Ultimate but after the final presentation I just aren’t anymore.

So much of the presentation was about the fact that this is the last part of the game, they went above and beyond to show us how important this is to us and how it’s finally over, and picked a character who is almost perfect for the final slot. It just wouldn’t be right to make them work on it further after the big send-off ultimate got.

Smash ultimate has never seemed like a celebration of the smash series to me. It’s more a celebration of the gaming industry and doesn’t really have the same heart as the previous games.

That’s why I think the next game should truly be a celebration of the smash series. Not nintendo, not the game industry, Smash Bros. And I want this celebration to be more in terms of modes and aesthetic than just stages and characters

Despite the whole cookie monster thing, I feel like arlo really isn't a channel that is intended for kids or younger audiences. But a lot of kids do watch it and arlo knows this, so I really respect how arlo is open about talking about the wrongdoings and issues with nintendo knowing this.

Pokemon unite bad and all that, but I actually think they have a really good roster of pokemon. Lotta good variety and some lesser known pokemon in there. Some less marketable ones too.

I feel like a lot of people who are trying to underhype NASB don’t understand why people are getting excited at all. I’ve seen a couple posts that were one low quality/cheap looking animation along with a caption that’s something like “this is the smash bros killer?” which is completely misunderstanding the reason people are hyped about this.

also I don’t think they realize that pretty much no one thinks this’ll “kill” smash bros, and there are a lot of people, including myself to a degree, who are cautiously optimistic about this game

If doomslayer got in, I feel like he should use mostly guns for his normals and melee weapons/chainsaws for his specials. I feel like it would fit the aggressive combat style of doom much better and would be more interesting.

I think it would be cool to have a platform fighter that actually has a gigantic character, kind of like what people thought Ridley would be like.

Okay so apparently genshin impact fans are reviewbombing the game because they didn’t get enough things for the anniversary reward. I’m sure it was very underwhelming and all but that’s the big thing tearing your community apart? Seems like a really overblown controversy to me.
