the DS is one of the few consoles that does have an objective worst game: Heathcliff Frantic Foto, which not even the Garbage Ape could save as it hardlocks itself once you get past Level 38. the only other console that has an objective worst game as far as I know is the ZX Spectrum with the LITERALLY literally unplayable Sqij.

if I were Nintendo, my way of preserving the classic games would be selling classics at the same price as Wii U and 3DS VC games, possibly lower, for every major console. SNES games aren't gonna push Switches, so why not just give everybody the retro games? plus it seems a little unfair for Microsoft to let Nintendo have their games but for Nintendo to give nothing in return.

I prefer "Funky New Mode" over "New Funky Mode" because "New Funky Mode" implies that it is a new mode involving Funky as a proper noun while "Funky New Mode" implies that the new mode itself is funky as an adjective.

Pokemon Gold and Silver and it's remakes are probably the only Pokemon games where the male character is a better choice than the female one. Ethan just looks so chill and cool - especially in HGSS.

I never got why people consider Metroid one of Nintendo's "big 3" franchises. to me, it's always been Mario, Pokemon and Zelda in that order.

of course, in an ideal world it'd be Mole Mania, Drill Dozer and Kuru Kuru Kururin - but then again, if I were in that world I'd probably be asking for more Mario, Pokemon and Zelda games.

I never really got the reason for the challenger approaching screen. most of the Smash characters were designed to be instantly recognisable in silhouette so there isn't really any fun in the screen. I personally would give each fighter a codename or teaser sentence like that fake leak from a while back.

I'm not a HP fan, so maybe there's some missing context, but I don't see why people take such an issue with JK Rowling's retcons, if you ask me it's her universe, her stories, and she can do what she wants with them.
