    You'll be fine! If you ever feel down about playstyle it's probably just a phase. I'm like that all the time, sometimes I'll do really well, other times not so much. You're a really good player rick and it's always a pleasure fighting you.

    I think part of my victories may come from the fact that I main peach as a solid secondary. Perhaps if you randomly whip out Zelda during any fight you might understand the way she's intended to be used, and then apply that knowledge when fighting her as Peach =D

    Thanks for those games rick ^^ that lag... hhmmm, I hope you can fix your connection!

    Dair approaches are tricky against Zelda because of OoS Up smash. Dark Peach also advised that spaced nairs and lighting kicks can hit hits on the side, whereas dair's hitbox is below.

    I think it's a matchup entirely based on spacing and pressure. But lag seriously hinders spacing. Also, be careful not to be in float for too long. I can memorise the height of the float and attempt to space a kick, which happened once or twice I believe.

    My jiggly is bad =( I'm working on her and peach as solid secondaries along with diddy!

    I hope you can fix it soon. Now my Luigi have to wait a bit. I forgot Jigglypuff also has some imba DI in the air just like Wario :). But then again I can't even land the dair rest combo. I suck too much in advanced techs. I can only do the easy snake dashing. I think I fail my momentum cancelling all the time to. I just die always while jumping.

    It seems like you have some sort of connection problem but I have seriously no idea what as I suck in that kind of stuff. Your ping is red and with my other buddies normal so I know it is you but you figured that out yourself already.

    Oh Rick... I don't know what to say =( I really hope we can get our connection good again. My connection hasn't changed... I played Chis for a bit, and it was okay... a tiny bit of lag here and there but it's been consistent like for the whole time I've played him.

    Ours has... just dropped from amazing to quite bad so dramatically!

    I was wondering however... would you mind testing a few things for me now that you're online? I need to test some combos.

    I was just going to MM his Ness.

    I'm pretty sure if it was his Peach he would destroy me, seeing as how many of the Sonic boarders complain about how difficult of a matchup Peach is for them.

    I have yet to fight a tourney Peach, but if I do ever come across one I would still try my best regardless, just to see what the fuss is about.

    I know we fought on Wi-Fi, but what exactly does that leave an impression on, especially when it's on two different continents?

    I can't see why they wouldn't vouch for you Rick, you're a good candidate from what I see.

    I'm sad to hear Edreese retired, is he too busy to not manage the write-up anymore or did he quit from smash entirely? That would be very sad to see such a respected player leave, but I'm sure the Peach community still has some very strong tourney goers as well as some other great people. I'd rather not see him go though because we have a freaking scheduled MM! :mad088:

    You should go tell the others back at the true SBR about what happened, I'm sure they will want to hope the best for you as do I, and if we can help in anyway we probably will.

    Rick... you're appearing as a yellow dot on my list =( I'm gonna try and join a game with chis and see what the lags like. One sec!

    It's a very big step up depending on your course you want to do. I do computer science with multimedia and digital systems (such a long name! xD) and there are assignments left, right and centre. Just be sure to enjoy your first year to the fullest and work hard for the second onwards, as you only need a pass in the first year (40%) to get through and it never counts to the final grade at all.

    Would you consider going? If you need any advice in the slightest just ask because the process of application is long and confusing and I found it best asking others who went through it ^^

    @matchup! you've got me all nervous now! xD whenever I play to determine matchup scores I get very nervous for some reason for representing my character (which I'm unsure whether I represent well or not ) =O /prejohns!

    Looking at it from past experience with you... it's definitely somewhere around Peach's advantage... slight or not but Peach has to remain unpredictable whereas Zelda has to remain good at reading (the latter is somewhat harder to do).
