  • I remember my hags and I would do slayer training in our basements at the age of 8. Remember when there were only 2 vampires that were wanton sex objects? And they didn't sparkle?
yeah I didn't mean slight advantage for sheik, I meant for fox

this is what happens when you don't get sleep >_>
    ... :D
if your not busy next weekend or the following, i was wondering if i could come on over and play some smash. as i think i stated one time before i'm relatively new and kind of bad. i wouldn't say i'd be going over there for a challenge but more for fun / to learn. hopefully we can set some sort of date... i'd have to know when before hand so i can get myself a ride. (:
i lied and didnt check train prices >_<. circa how much do you think it'll end up being? and do you have directions to the venue already?
A while back we were talking about good hip hop groups in the CT playerfinder, and mentioned CunninLynguists. Which are now one of my favorite groups ever, and I used one of their tracks for this falco vid.

So just sort of a thanks for the heads up for their awesomeness.
haha yeah that's what makes it extra awesome. sad thing is that I'm only halfway through season 2 and haven't seen anything beyond that :(
are you playing with swift or garrett today? i saw you post something and i wanna play XD. swifts house is closer to you than mine. so if its not at your place/any of the above wanna comeover?
Hey, what's your name on SC? (if you play on the east server)
this is the guy from that APM thread
    nice location btw haha

what race are you? terran? or just <3 FBH
Do we have your permission to run the sequel to the greatest tournament of all time, I'm talkin about . . . . Smashtastrophe 3? we made a thread for it already, and we would love for you and your crew to be there
You could you explain to me what Reno does to fix his R button again?
Heh, shows how much I've been paying attention. LOL

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about those two. Fantasy is probably my favorite modern T, honestly; he just seems in control all the time. You can definitely see the influence of oov and Boxer.

And Leta I just like for his silly Wraith antics. heh
Oh man, Casy... That guy is super old-school. He still plays, right? I don't think I've seen him qualify for the ro32 in MSL or OSL, or even play in Proleague, really...

In terms of T, though, I've always followed the older guys, like NaDa, oov, and Boxer. I dunno, the modern macro-oriented game practically all T's play just doesn't appeal to me all that much (even though oov does that to a ridiculous extent, but he's an exception).
Heh, that it is. Just a bunch of tanks and turrets all over the place in positions that I do not comprehend.

I guess I chose T just 'cause. lol No real reason. I do enjoy TvP, however, which is probably due to my terrible M&M micro that gets like 80,000 Marines killed by one Lurker shot. rofl I need Boxer micro.
Nice. Like nobody I know plays T except for Trail, so I suck massively at that match-up. lol

Then again, I suck at the game in general, so it's all good.
I understand but too bad Smashboards is rated E10+ not PG-13 so I can't ignore it if the filter typically prevents the profanity. I don't think you care personally I'm just stating the obvious here.
I think I will. I'd be interested in talking about it. And, again, never worry about offending me with your beliefs or whatever. Just as long as you're not going out of your way to offend me, I don't really take offense.
Hahahah, don't worry about 'being civilized'. One of my best friends is a self-proclaimed anti-theist. I'm totally open to people being against religion. Heck, if I didn't believe so strongly that God did exist then I'd probably be in the same boat as him.

Anyway, yeah, there's DEFINITELY a struggle with suppressing sexual desire. But that's just life. To do 'the right thing' in any circumstance is difficult. A lot of atheists hold the idea that there is no morality or anything, but that we merely have instincts. C.S. Lewis in turn describes instincts as the keys of a piano, but the sheet music, morality, tells us which keys to press when. No key on a piano is bad, but if you press a key at the wrong moment, it can turn out bad. Same with morality.

Sex is just a key I can't press at the moment. And we're always struggling against our nature. I'll be honest, I'm a terrible person. I don't want to go with my nature, honestly. After seeing what it did to my life, I want to be as far away from 'my nature' as possible.

Anyway, if you want to talk about what you think religion does to people, I would be interested. A lot of the people think that questioning God or the Bible offends me or something. It doesn't at all. I bring things into question all the time, it's just that I keep being brought back to the same answer at the end of every day: That there is a God. If it ever switches that at the end of every day I don't come to that conclusion, I'll abandon my religion. If there is no God everything I'm doing is not only worthless, but also probably incredibly detrimental to humanity. So, if there isn't, I'd like to know XD

It's just, as I said, each day I keep coming back to the same conclusion.
Hey, thought you might be kind of interested in this, concerning what you said about people who are virgins wanting to marry sooner, et cetera.

I don't know if you follow football at all (I know I don't XD) but Dave Thomas (a tight end for the Patriots) and his wife (Cassidy, I believe) came and spoke tonight at a small meeting we had for the teens concerning premarital sex. And, although it was hard for them, for God they kept their relationship pure of not just sex, but the things leading up to that. Paul tells us not to have "even a hint of sexual immorality" (Ephesians 5:3 NIV), and they held to that.

Afterward, what Cassidy said was that it really deepened their relationship and built a foundation of trust for them. Like, she said that if they didn't do it that way she probably would be afraid of her husband being unfaithful. But since they've built that foundation of respect for God and for one another, it did wonders for their marriage.

Also, Dave, a good friend of mine, was in a typical marriage before he became a Christian and ended up getting divorce. In this relationship he did have sex before marriage, and looking back at it he talks about how he didn't really know his wife and how that there was a real gap between them. But after becoming a Christian, and much later getting married to a different woman and staying pure all up until that, really noticed the difference in the marriage dynamic.

Although I'm not in a relationship yet, I really do see where they're coming from. Just thought it was interesting. And no, we don't normally have celebrities come, by the way XD
