How I feel when I listen to a country song and actually like it
TIL that Shining is a Sega RPG series. Usually, for some reason (I guess because of The Shining being a horror thing), I used to think that it was just a spin-off or different name for House of the Dead.
Another weird dream I had a few nights ago, I was watching a Prosafia Gaming video of "All Multiversus songs and their origins". There would be Multiversus gameplay in the background - which was actually a WB kart racer, I saw Rick on his home stage driving some kind of techno-car, I think I saw Batman on the road at some point too? while in the middle of the video there was the MV remix and some kind of soundtrack cover for the game, and then footage of where it came from along with the source of the original song. It was weird, the remixes were mostly good but the original tracks were very uhhh, potentially good but sounded like they were very limited by hardware. Most of them came from licensed games, oddly including a DS Phineas and Ferb top-down racing game for some reason (I was partly lucid but for some reason I just believed my brain that Warner Bros owned P&F).

Okay normally I love Roger Craig Smith as Sonic but he's not doing a great job here tbh, it just sounds like...Roger Craig Smith playing himself. I get they might want a more adult-sounding Sonic to match with the more serious tone, but man, they leaned way too far into that direction.

I remember I went to court when I was a kid (I don't remember why, but thinking about how old I was it was probably about my parents' divorce) and a little bit before then my dad was talking to a lawyer who was really nice but extremely boring and I had to sit in his office for like an hour or two. It wasn't that bad though, because he had the Peanuts 2000 book on his coffee table and it had a bunch of Peanuts comics in it and I read that thing the whole time, and I loved it so much he said I could borrow it but I had to bring it back.
I don't think I went to the guy's office again though so I've just had this really big book of Peanuts strips for ten years
About a year ago, an acquaintance of mine made a really badass remix of a Mega Man Zero 3 song and posted it to a smash-centric discord server we were both in, but the title was a spoiler for a certain boss fight and instead of just being silently upset (I was, and still am, on the first Zero game), I decided to say something about it in the server. I probably made him feel awful for posting a spoiler for a seventeen year old game which he had every right to post without any spoiler tags.

I'm surprised there aren't any creation threads (so far) that have done a sequel instead of DLC. It would be really interesting to see how that would work - like, which characters would get cut, which movesets get reworks, stuff like that.
I find Monster Smash really fun so far, but when we get to the inevitable Stranger Things character ISTG if they add Vecna over the Demogorgon or Steve I'm gonna lose it

i hate how the arena ID in the top right corner in SSBU arenas is practically the same shade of blue as the background and also cast against a soft light and is also super tiny making it near impossible to read from a distance
I nearly cried in laughter today because I picked up a pretty looking indie puzzle platformer, and two hours in one of the characters just unpromptedly starts singing Sonic R lyrics with zero warning

Current candidates for who I might submit today in SMSB:
MIPS (Hook would be having a moveset based around speedrunning, specifically SM64 speedrun glitches and exploits)
Mecha Bowser (Hook would be being a stance fighter where up, down and side specials let you control the head, legs, and arms respectively)
Big Yoshi (Hook is that it's Big Yoshi)
Toad (Hook is his very accurate SMB2 physics, you know how SSB4 and Ultimate make Mega Man feel exactly like he does in the games? Yeah like that, but since Blue Toad would be a speedy grappler it actually isn't annoying or anything)
Dry Bones (Hook is that he can survive much longer than any other character because sometimes you might only KO part of him, like the head and arms, but the legs and body are still there to fight)
Emulation and Humble Bundle converted me from a console games enthusiast to a PC gamer and honestly I'm all here for it. -
