Even though I don't think they have a chance anymore, I still want Decidueye in Smash and will continue to want them even when the next Smash game is announced.

Decided to get Dragon Ball FighterZ
I've never actually played a traditional fighting game other than a few minutes of Street Fighter 2 which I hated due to the physics so this will be my first true experience with the genre
Occasionally when Geno is brought up as a newcomer option, I see a lot of people ask "why Geno but not Mallow?"
I've been playing SMRPG recently, and I think I can finally answer that: Geno hits like a ****ing truck, while Mallow almost feels like dead weight by the time Geno joins the party.
Currently making a Smash roster with my IRL friends. Up until now I've mostly worked on these rosters by myself and they mostly appealed to the core Smash fandom, i.e. people who post here.
So now that I ditched that mentality, it's interesting to do something different and work with people whose gaming tastes are pretty wildly different and have a very casual enjoyment of Smash Bros. Characters like Isaac and Geno are still on the roster since I also have input, but the roster is overall much more diverse.
They have a platformer bias but that's okay since the characters I chose are mostly from JRPGs.
After seeing the leaked character, my hype for Nick All-Star Brawl is through the roof
Though I have a lot of Nickelodeon Lore to catch up on

I'll actually be fine if the only western third-party characters that ever get into Smash are from western companies that are already involved. It's not like Microsoft has a shortage of IPs.

Come to think of it, what was the last time a conspiracy theory for a character getting into Smash (that wasn't completely obvious) actually came true? It feels to me like people look at too many factors when speculating over who gets in when the reality is much simpler than that.

I played Smash Wii U last night.
This game is ****ing weird to go back to after Ultimate. The controls are bizarre, the CPUs are extremely annoying, classic mode is a ****ing mess and "Smash Tour" is a word combination I don't ever want to hear again in my life.
It's gonna be fun to 100% this game.

I think my renewed interest in Smash speculation is a result of my boring job driving my insane.
Apparently I made a nearly complete moveset for Decidueye back in the day....
It probably sucks though. I didn't usually take game design into account during my short tenure at making moveset and I still don't know much about it, so the movesets I made unfortunately reflect that. I might take another crack at it one day, when I really have nothing better to do, but it's unlikely.
