Is it just me, or are there not many good NIntendo characters left to put in Smash Bros. as playable characters aside from those from newer games? (And some newer games are of existing series, anyway) I mean, there are lots to choose from, but many do become Assist Trophies, or are not as recognizable or wanted as Bandana Waddle Dee and Dixie Kong. I don't think there are many good Nintendo characters left to consider for Smash in that regard nowadays. I could be wrong, but I am saying this because I think this is partly why third party characters are considered for Smash Bros., as they are more in number than Nintendo characters.

Hey all, as I may have to some people through PM, I was planning to write a book that I hope to get published one day.

Well, I have started writing it since two weekends ago. I have shared some of it with people I know and they like what I have so far. Hopefully, this will turn out well.

I already posted this on the Next Smash Speculation topic, but let me say it again here.

There is something I have to say, something I have to vent about.

I recall there were characters people wanted in past Smash Bros. games to get in, but the haters of such characters all said, and keep saying things about why they can't get in, normally dumb things. In particular, I have seen haters say some characters can't get in in terms of an existing character or another character they think will replace them. I believe they said Young Link can't be in Smash again because we have Toon Link. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate says hi. In Brawl, they said Ness can't return because Lucas will replace him. The intro for Brawl disproved that. I have even seen people say Wolf could not be in Brawl because Fox has a costume that looks like him. Then came the leaks, and Wolf's official announcement. You get what I mean.

So with that, don't you all think the arguments saying this character can't be in Smash because of another existing character or an existing character can't get in because we have a new character that would take their place is all a dumb argument?

I do not know why Sonic is considered to be responsible for one of the delays for Brawl. Sure, he might have had a hand in some of it, being added in late and all, but the game was delayed for balancing things out from what I recall. Now, I can see that Sonic was announced the same day they said they would delay Brawl's release, but Sonic was being made and added in Brawl long before his announcement, so balance changes would have to be made by then, and since making a character takes time, the game could have been delayed at any time during Sonic's development other than when they chose to do so. If it was earlier, we would probably not know if Sonic was the cause at all for the delay. That said, there can't be enough to say that Sonic was the cause of the delay, let alone the only cause.

Also, Brawl was set to be released when the Wii would come out, then was delayed long before Sonic's announcement, was it not? Either way, I think Brawl had a delay before Sonic and the delay that came with him. It is possible Sonic was a factor for the first delay, but for balancing and all, there are more characters to take into consideration, and they all must be balanced in relation to each other, so Sonic is not the sole reason for delaying a game, let alone the sole reason for balancing. Plus, let's be honest, Sakurai was not good with balancing at the time and maybe even now, so I doubt he was working on balancing the game only in order for him to delay a game like Brawl.

I had this dream the other night where I was watching a cartoon about video games, where the main characters would help characters from different video game series. It included characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, but the main character of that cartoon in my dream was Woody Woodpecker for some reason.

This is one of those Christmas songs that is so wrong and yet son funny at the same time.
