You realize how rediculously well you know his playstyle when you play other people and are wrongly predicting them at every turn it is good for practice but I wish I had more people to train with.must be nice to have a brother who's into smash...
IMHO. it's the best training you could get, since your brother will know your playstyle as well, forcing you to be creative on the spot. You realize how rediculously well you know his playstyle when you play other people and are wrongly predicting them at every turn it is good for practice but I wish I had more people to train with.
I completely agree. I had to go up against my training partner last tourney. I almost got 3 stocked 1st match, but then I changed it up and managed to win.IMHO. it's the best training you could get, since your brother will know your playstyle as well, forcing you to be creative on the spot.
late response to this but it was Sheik.Who did you use for the low tier tourney?
My bro always beat me in fighters, because my secret weakness for a long time, is random unpredictable spam(aka educated mashing), which thankfully I have NEVER seen in a tourny. Eventually I get to the point where I can handle it better but it still causes me problems.late response to this but it was Sheik.
Ironically at this last one I used Zelda and Sheik wasn't allowed bc of the tier list changes.
I'll probably post it in a bit, but I'm not happy with my placing this time -_-. I know I'm getting a lot better, but I keep losing to my brother every single time which destroys my placings. My games with him this time were dead close though, so I know I could beat him. He just counters the hell out of me both character wise, and personally.

Well, technically I have played Tommy G before, but he doesn't play like he's supposed to. (But, ****, he plays so pretty... Just not too effective.)I wish our play n trade held smash tournies, or any tournies for that matter .
But seriously first falco, man your falco scene must be as dead as ours, thankfully jon is around.
Yeah its has such a bull hitbox, thankfully is slow as ****, and once you get owned by it 100 or so times, you can reaction punish it alot more, and dodge it.Well, technically I have played Tommy G before, but he doesn't play like he's supposed to. Falco's F-smash should not be as big as Marth's... All I gotta say about that.
Oh, I know the move is slow. I just died early thinking I could grab him while he was charging it. ****ing magic wind.Yeah its has such a bull hitbox, thankfully is slow as ****, and once you get owned by it 100 or so times, you can reaction punish it alot more, and dodge it.
Yeah we only have really one falco who is worth there salt around here thankfully I play him in casuals a bit, so when I run into the others its more or less an easy win, or at least the others have been easy so far, however there are always players like me who hide in the woodwork and only pop out 2-3 times a year.
On an unrelated note by LPs do you mean lets plays
I didn't enter. I admit I haven't been feeling Brawl lately. I went there to play B+, which is why Vilt and I didn't let you play TvC on that TV.Noice now I just have to not lose to ROB (smacks head), and maybe I can do good too, the next was a falco, jerk, random pulled out smashville barely lost, then slaughter fest on RC duh, then CP FD **** it.
Ph00tbag was there too, but I think he did even worse than me IDK, I just played alot of causal matches.
No lol, I doubt he'd come all the way from Texas to play here unless it was a big regional, and hopefully place higher...Snakeee, that the same Dojo as the one who's like one of the best MKs in the country?
