By your logic there is no such thing as a 80-20 matchup.

Ike doesn't have a TERRIBLE matchup vs sheik cause even though he has to approach due to needles and can only approach with N-> Jab which isn't reliable, no sheik is perfect so he will therefore SOMETIMES hit her, no?

On paper (which, strangely enough, is what a matchup thread is) ike gets ***** by sheik.
On paper, olimar ***** Zelda.

Can you win a 80-20 matchup? Sure. Is it an uphill battle? Thats kind of all that matters.

Ike has more trouble with shiek than zelda does with Olimar.... honestly you look at what olimar's got on zelda... it's quite similar to what Ike has got on zelda... and that's 45:55 Ike... what's olimar really got that makes him THAT much better suited to win the matchup?

Olimar is 20:80 cause zelda can't really approach him and olimar outrages her. And she can't camp him.

I want to say something about the fox matchup. Its even worse for fox than you say, Its probably 7:3 zelda vs fox(near impossible for fox to camp her, or to approach her), and 6:4 sheik vs fox(fox gets owned by ftilt lock)

While I do agree that Zelda ***** fox.... my expeience and the experience I've heard from othrs says that shiek ***** him even harder... or at least just as hard.

Sheik is worse for Fox because of tilt locking. Zelda isn't as much of a threat to Fox as he can reflect or avoid Din's Fire and use the time for Din's Fire to come near him by laser spamming into shine (to avoid Din's Fire).

while this is true.... what Zelda's are you watching that being able to reflect din's fire is even much of a consideration in the matchup?

ways to lose to ganondorf:
1) be distracted by his impressive crotch and allow yourself to be smacked with his volcano kick..... multiple times... any other smash will do... but I can't see why you'd run into THOSE ones.
2) kill yourself out of pure and utter terror!
3) forget how to play smash. due to, possibly, a massive cranial injury.
4) disqualify yourself out of chivalry... it's just not fair.
5) Iunno.... maybe the person playing ganondorf could sparta kick you in the nads.... then MAYBE... just MAYBE he'd have a shot of winning while you are distracted..... but even that method isn't for certain.

yeah... I've lost to online ganons... and online ikes far more often than I should have.... when your whole advantage on them relies on the fact that you can get attacks out a HELL of a lot faster than them, and can punish all of their lag.... it really helps if you can actually get the attacks out when you tell them to.

That's my point. Most characters have dairs that beat out Olimar's upsmash. Zelda doesn't.

you sir are ridiculously biased here..... I still remember how long you assaulted Zelda mains that olimar was such a hard counter because yellow pikmin were immune to nayru's love... and then I said "no.... they aren't" then you insisted blues were as well....

Well it's not hard, it's timing D: If Zelda starts too soon or late, Olimar's U-smash will beat her ....wait, that means is kind of difficult ^_^ Oh well :3

Zelda's dair has startup and has to be done from the air, which means that it can only be done when you can see Olimar's usmash coming from a good moment beforehand.

Also, I definitely prefer using Sheik against Olimar to Zelda.
