BTW, Thanks Drake! I was having a hard time thinking of how I was going to put my name in Brawl. HPSTR crossed my mind once. but I'm not sure if that'd be a good idea. "Adrian" is one letter too long (I have no problem putting my name on the internet). Now I know I'm going to put HIPPY! Although, I am already bashed at school for claiming to hug trees... I don't mind though. :D

And @ Hipsterkid yeah, I suppose since we're all kind of going to be in the dark at the beginning of Brawl it's ok.

Oh and good news! We have a standardized test the two days after Brawl comes out that Juniors and Seniors don't have to take. So I get two days to play Brawl right after I get it. Sweeeeeeet.

Yes so we need to have some matches right away and some matches later on to see improvement. We can test each other. Good idea HPSTR *pats back* Lucky you. My birthday is right by Brawl's release. March 6th is my birfday. :D

Is anyone going to be using the Wiimote (I just got the pun a minute ago... ^^')? Wow, Hipsterkid, you're adventurous. I really can't picture myself using anything but the GC controller. Seriously, does anyone else think that the wiimote + nunchuk is a little risky in a serious match? It seems like too many things could go wrong to me.

Yessum. I don't think it'd be totally right if I didn't try it out. I actually adjusted to it well after playing Sonic and the Secret Rings. I beat the game so I guess that's enough to warrant a "Sideways Wiimote Veteran" Badge. (cue overdramatic "shine" sound with a multicolored "wow" background)

Brawl is nearing so fast that everyone talks about beating each other. hahahaha we should make an onine smash team called "The Zelda Alliance" LOL

Anyways Im excited to fight others as well.... the only thing im afraid of is that I live in the philippines... which COULD make the gameplay quite laggy.... T___T

Anways, I plan on maining Zelda along side Zero Suit Samus. Possibly Lucario and Lucas.

If Sheik gets in Zelda's way, your usually the first to mention it (I can't help but wonder if you're the reason Sheik has all of those bandages... The same colors can be played on Wifi, but they assign you a light/dark tone of the color, exactly like a team game when your teammates are the same character.

Not sure what happens when all 4 players are same character and color.

I'll always be a fan of green myself when it comes down to it (except in the case of Peach... her green looks rather awful this time) but I actually like all of her colors this time. Although the OoT dress may be my least favorite.

Zelda pretty much rules regardless of what color you choose.

Peronally I like the blond haired, pink dress Zelda that looks like her OOT counterpart. Those colors on TPs design look fantastic.

I hope if all 4 people choose the same character/color on Wifi it makes 2 of them change. Then again, I doubt that will come up much unless people are doing it on purpose.

*Beware of SSE Spoilers*, but otherwise, Peach and Zelda are dominating. All 3 of Zelda's taunts are rather clearly seen, and more Din's/Nayru's footage is inside. Din's Fire in particular has a lot of vertical control this time. You can change its upward/downward direction very quickly. Also, the explosions at long range are HUGE.

That is some seriously impressive AI. I think Din's Fire has always been that size (in Brawl, not Melee), but because of the semi-decent quality of the video, you can't discern the tiny bright core, the main ball, and the ring of fire around it. The explosion looks HUGE, though. I didn't realise the diameter of the ball before the explosion is almost as tall as Zelda.

The only thing I'm worried about is that this version of Din's Fire we are seeing is so impressive because it is Shadow Zelda using it. I do hope that normal Zelda gets to use that version of Din's Fire, because all the footage I've seen so far seems to indicate otherwise.

I would hate for us to be shown how great the move can be, and then have it turn out that only the CPU has access to it.

Down: "Wow. Are you sure your main isn't bottom tier?"
Side: "Look ma! No down-b!"

Farore's Emerald (I'm guessing the names of the gems... need to play that game again) would increase the distance of her FW, Din's Ruby ("") would increase the size of DF, and Naryu's Something would... Ah, it's just Sheik. I love her, what can I say? Well the video tells you what actually happens. Pictures just leave me thinking "What if". The video was actually rad (dead word). I loved it.

Haha, quite the story. I love doing that too. It's so convenient that he's immobile while using it. Makes it much easier. A buffed D-Air would be awesome. Especially if there was some sort of lightning/magic effect to it.

Meh.. i wouldn't really matter to me. I always use Din's Fire regardless. I'd say that I'm decent at aiming it. :] I use all of Zelda's attacks. With the exception of maybe Down tilt and Neutral A.

I like that idea. Especially making Nayru's love bigger. it seems to have gotten smaller this time around. The crystal doesn't seem to fully cover Zelda's body.
Perhaps there could be a sticker to lessen the transformation time? Zelda's mobile wardrobe sticker. Pull your Sheik disguise out of the wardrobe in a flash!

Drake's post made me think. Anyone else thinking of using any secondaries. I think I may try Ganondorf out. He doesn't look to be much use at this point, but I think I'd enjoy trying him out once and a while. Toon Link also appeals to me. I always liked Link's moveset. I would've loved for his attacks to be delivered faster though, and Toon Link seems to appeal in that department.

It's probably only Shadow Zelda that has that big a Din's Fire. Both shadow princesses are buffed versions of the real ones, and if you notice, Peach's turnips are 2x bigger and they are just more powerful in general.

Peach's turnips are the same size as they usually are in that video.

Remember though, the explosion radius of Din's Fire increases with its travel time. This has always been the case in Melee as well, but the apparent size of the explosion was always the same regardless of distance. In the particular screen I grabbed, it was used at a very long range. In other parts of that same video, the explosion obviously isn't as big.

And Stip, if you want to avoid spoilers, just skip the first and last 60 seconds of the video. Believe me, it's worth it.
