Wow again I missed quite a bit.

Alright for the SSE clip those were big *** Din's Fire explosion I really hope it's not SSE exclusive cause I want to make huge exposions like that. But man were Peach and Zelda mean to the others they kept pushing them off to the sides. Hope there's more interaction between Snake and the princesses should get interesting *points at the pic where Snake grabs Zelda* hehe.

Oh yeah and Arean you are very welcome for your sig i'm glad you like it. That goes for everyone elses I made one for I feel so loved. Though Drake I think you're making similiar gender mistakes like Stip has.

Also nooooooooooooooo, Luthien you stole normal/purple Zelda I wanted to use that . Then green is chosen as well now I can't match with Link. I will go with red ranger Zelda then or is that taken as well meh. Though i'm not sure if I like witch Zelda all that much *hides under rock*.

Remember though, the explosion radius of Din's Fire increases with its travel time. This has always been the case in Melee as well, but the apparent size of the explosion was always the same regardless of distance. In the particular screen I grabbed, it was used at/near maximum range. In other parts of that same video, the explosion obviously isn't as big.

Only good Zelda players can see my sig. That would explain Drake3's inability. If you aren't Drake and you can't see my sig, then no offence. I'm sure your computer has made a mistake.

Anyway, I'm always willing to play Zelda's blue outfit if anyone MUST use my first choice.

Perhaps there could be a sticker to lessen the transformation time?

Apparently, only Zelda would need that. In the next episode of Ryoko's video, Zelda takes longer to transform into Sheik, whereas Sheik only takes as long as it was in Melee! Roar...

Also I agree with green Zelda. It was my favorite as well aside from the original. I don't use any other color only those two in Melee. Even on teams if I was Zelda I always had to be the green team not sure why.

Though I love all the colors in Brawl well except one of them sorta. I guess i'll learn to love it.

I knew that I would be maining Zelda regardless of:
-Sheik's inclusion
-buffs/nerfs
-any other characters

I've always liked playing people in Melee where I wouldnt tell them who I play as. And theyre like..oh Sheik...and I just smile. Then they realize I stay as Zelda and laugh. Even though I rarely win, its always been close and the game ends with them saying that they never knew Zelda could be so awesome. (Note: Im not a competitive player, so I no nothing about stuff like wavedashing and edgeguarding and all the stuff.)

Yeah I think you guessed Iris to be a guy originally.

So there's a match between Sheik and Lucario, and in it Sheik transforms (to abuse the kick; but ironically it doesn't work if you don't know how to play Zelda) and then transforms back again. There's honestly no difference in transformation length. They both take 2 seconds (and I counted using the timer) to switch.

Also of importance, Sheik's third jump doesn't look that much shorter than Zelda's.

Ah after watching it again the difference in transformation time is noticeable. But it's not significant. That extra half second isn't going to change the tide of battle for the most part, so I don't think it's that big of a deal, besides it may be because we're expecting it to be shorter that it actually does look shorter. I've done that quite a few times.

Well, you were a starfish to me if that makes you feel better. Also watch this http://www.wifiwars.com/?q=node/75 and tell me if you see a difference. I know there's an obvious one in SSE, but Brawl matches are way more important than that.

Yeah, transformation definitely looks the same length

and her UpB isn't that long. There's a time in the video where she uses it on the ground from one edge of the stage and she doesn't even reach halfway. Assuming Battlefield is the same size in relation to the characters as in Melee and assuming that Farore's Wind is the same, Zelda's is like twice as long considering her's takes her from one edge of the stage to 2/3 of it.


Edit: I just tested in Melee and Sheik's Up-B on Battlefield took her to the exact same spot from the video when used in the same place. It also took two of Sheik's Up-B's to reach one of Zelda's Farore's.

On another note, what are everyone's thoughts of forming that one Zelda Alliance? I really want to do it no matter how lame it seems.

EDIT:
After watching Drake's video, I've come up with this conclusion.
Although I don't see any difference in the time it takes to transform (~2 seconds for each), there could be reasoning behind why they would make the time differentiate. Balancing.
Take this into account.

I want to use Zelda/Sheik for a match. I know that Sheik is good for comboing and Zelda for KO-ing. So, why not start the match as Sheik. I can start comboing the opponent and raise their percentage. However, I don't want to have to wait until ~180 percent to kill (hehe loser Sheik). So I transform into Zelda. I still have to fight though. Transform has to go much quicker so that I can get a KO before I get KO-ed. One newly buffed Down Air and their dead. I need to transform back to Sheik so that I can combo again. However, I have some time since the opponent is barely coming back to life. To balance that quicker transform, I need to come back with a slower one so that Transform isn't always abused.

In this situation, both Zelda and Sheik are used properly. Sure, there are still possible errors but that is how I feel it did/would have happened. I still don't believe one takes longer than the other, however, if it does, that would be my idea as to why. Agree or disagree, that is only an opinion.

Oh, and Vanish (Up+B) does look a tad bit longer.
