Honestly I don't think I'd be that interested. I like God of war but if they're doing a gods fighting game I'd prefer they do their own designs.

I would actually enjoy it, but I would prefer Jesse to be playable, given that he's likable. And that the entire Minecraft franchise has been acclaimed overall.

I've seen Danganronpa and Persona compared and contrasted several times. HWYR if Makoto (Danganronpa) was a guest character in Tekken 8. Since Joker was a guest character in Mortal Kombat 11.

Ultimate 2, which is strictly made for casual play, features a 100+ character roster with major moveset revamps for characters like Ganondorf; Samus; and Wario, and has a story mode - BUT is not in any way designed for competitive play with pretty much every character having some comically OP move; and Super Smash Bros. Melee 2, a download title which is designed exclusively for competitive play, has no extra modes beyond battles, and has a 35 character Nintendo-only roster with minor revamps for post-Brawl characters to be less source-accurate and a few more obscure characters exclusive to Melee 2?

Honestly, this feels like it'd be the best outcome for all parties involved; Folks who like Ultimate's design philosophy get more of that in pretty much every capacity, while Melee enjoyers get a more competitive-orientated experience. My only gripe is that "not in any way designed for competitive play" is a little too vague of a descriptor, so I'm not 100% sure if I'd agree with the choices made in that regard.
