You have a weight room in your school? Our school didn't even have a common room.

Basically there was only 3 groups in my school. The sporty stuck up guys, the girls that hang around with them, the weird kids, and everyone else. I was in the everyone else group and we're all pretty equal in there, and we outnumbered the other 2 groups.

Generally in school, apart from my friends, I keep to myself, and rarely attempt at making new friends. Not loved not hated.

With my mates, we're the weird group, I'm the white guy trapped in an asian. Depending on my mood, environment and amount of sleep, I can be really hypo, act kinda gay and funny,
or be quiet, brood & serious.

i'd say i'm above average. i can be pretty loud and out going most of the time, but every now and then i just sit in the courtyard alone and bump my music. but then again, i'm in college. not really sure if social status really counts here lol.

I guess im that nerd that everyone gets along with. Some of my friends are kinda made fun of from time to time...but i tend to avoid that since im pretty mellow at school because im never really 100% awake. I can be loud...but im usually too tired to care.
im kinda just friends with everyone. Except in spanish. im just kinda quiet there.

Basically, I tend not to speak much, and when I do, it's something that's relevant and occasionally humourous.

I ignore all who annoy me, because they have never had anything interesting to say.

I speak to clarify something, pull a cruel-yet-humourous joke, or to discuss any topic that grasps my interest.
Along with that, I am sometimes unintentionally popular. During lunch breaks, I stay within the building, on my computer, having my own source of entertainment. Whenever I go outside (where the rest of them are gathered), some of them (both boys and girls) call to me to join in. Usually, I rebuff their invitation, preferring to not speak at all instead of speak about a petty and negligible issue such as gossip, relationships, or whatever the rest of the archetypal teenage crap is.

Overall, I'm known as the intelligent-but-silent one, grabbing people's attention at random times.

I also have a very low tolerance of class idiots.

I'm the guy that's EXTREMELY popular before a test. People just come and bombard me qith questions, asking for help, and whatever else they need. Usually I'm too lazy to help.

I'm on general good terms with everyone, although I only care to hang out with around 10 people.

I'm pretty loud all the time and make a fool of myself quite often. I have a lot of friends at school. I'm a freshman at stuyvesant. None of the friends I have there I particularly love unless I knew them before high school. There's a couple friends I really enjoy but I never hang out with any of em after school. Tbh I really don't like stuyvesant. just cause it's so demanding and I have to study so hard to get decent grades. On top of that, all my friends went to brooklyn tech which I wanted to go to my mom wanted me to apply to stuyvesant before tech. I still hang out with my friends from junior high every weekend but I still wish I went to tech. a lot of the time I wish I purposely missed a ferw questions on the SHSAT so I would miss the cutoff for stuyvesant and make tech :(

Well, i'm unpopular, but everyone knows me and i'm actually good friends with about half the people in the school (rly small school ftw). I don't play any sports ever since track and field was taken away, and @ my school, if u play alot of sports and don't do ur work, ur instantly popular. Also, i destroyed my chance of being seen as mature in anyone's eyes because all throughout elementary school, i was a huge crybaby. I cried everytime i fell down, everytime someone put me down too much, and now, even though i've stopped the crying for a long time, my class treats me as a 5th grader. They're nice to me, but in a way where they act like they're my babysitter -_-
I do like ppl being nice to me, but i hate being treated like a child. I've tried to act mature, but they keep treating me like i'm a kid.

When I was in high school I was a three sport athlete, but I hung out with nerds. So I had the respect of the jocks, but my friends were nerds. Generally, I'm usually laughing and having a good time, so I never really had a reason for people to not like me. Plus I was one of the tallest kids around, so everyone knew me as the tall kid too, lol.

In high school I was pretty popular for the most part. Most people in my grade liked me and i had lots of friends outside of my grade.

its pretty impossible to gauge (or care about) popularity in university so i'll just leave it as that

Well I'm not part of the Drama department, or a jock so that means my name isn't known in school, but those sort of things are over ratted.

I'm content with my small group of friends.

I never understood how or why I was so popular in school. EVERYONE knew me, it got to the point where it was crazy. I was walking with a girl I was dating, and she was amazed at how many people I knew, to which I told her "That guy I was just talking too, I have no idea who that is and don't remember him before." I was an outgoing, loud, passionate dude, sure, but outside of dating women and playing music, I didn't do anything with anyone outside of school.

I am quiet and hard working in class, but more outgoing with friends.

I hang out with different groups. At lunch, I end up sitting with my immature friend"s" (today I tried to teach my friend how to chew with his mouth closed. I ended up getting pretty aggressive and angry so I gave up -_-) and Runescape addicts. I walk to and from school with my favorite friends, who are hysterically strange (don't make me elaborate). In class I like to hang out with my extremely smart friend who is really funny and gets most of my references. I hate the people who drool and sweat ego and end up getting all of the girls' attention (I don't get it :/).

I am also part of the musical groups such as Band and Jazz Band.

I'm the clown that gets into trouble a lot. I'm only popular because i don't go along with the crowd, and because people think i put out :ohwell:

I'm known as "that black chick who this she's white" even though i've never wanted to be completely white (my mother is white) but because i don't listen to "black people" music (or american music in general), i'm trying to be white/japanese. Because i wear eyeliner and spike my hair, i'm known as "that one scene kid"

that's my general status in school: horribly misunderstood

For whatever it is worth, a bunch of my classmates nicknamed me the "Lone Ranger." I guess I am not the most social person, but I tend to get along with everyone.

Yep, to elaborate more on my status, I used to hang with a bunch of immature crazy kids from grd 8-10. Then, as I matured...they didn't. And they ignored me constantly, so I said forget this, and started hanging out with various other kids who actually talked to me instead of being ignored and I talk to everyone now, its better :)

Mostly these days though, I'm in our weight room every lunch, and after school i'm involved in sports or more weight room, and hang with friends after that.

Btw, what happened to my previous friends (I'm only friends with 3/10 of them now) Ever since I'm obtained much more friends than them and been constantly complimented by girls due to my new body from weight room, they've been calling me a jerk for no good reason :D. Ahhh they hate everyone though, they arn't exactly loved by anyone themselves and are completly antisocial except for with eachother, where they make dirty sexual jokes (but never act on them) like little kids and throw food at eachother.

Thank god I changed my life.

I don't think it generally matters. You are who you are.

I wouldn't even know how to begin to characterize myself. I can try though; I'm generally outgoing with anyone, nice, and semi respectful. People talk to me, I talk back. Doesn't matter who they are or where they come from. You're nice to me, I'm nice to you. I have a crude sense of humor, and an abundant imagination. Some people know I'm artsy others don't know a thing but my name. So I mean, it's all about perception. Even so your perception of yourself can be biased or down graded to fit your low self esteem. So yeah..ha.

Sorry to burst this bubble, but maturity is not based on the jokes you tell.

And of course they never act on them, they're jokes. At least they are having fun joking around. Way to bash your old friends, man.

lol, "status". Honestly, I've found that the people who try to create any kind of tangibility out of this concept are people who obsess about it, either because they feel they don't have enough of it, or those that do have it and make friendship a commodity that can be traded or upgraded.

I'm amazed to see people in college commenting about their own "status". I was going to say "college will shake this kind of thinking from you", but apparently that's not as universal as I thought [and hoped].

I DO have friends, but it seems that it's never anyone in my Mukking grade. My list of friends is full of mostly 7th and Mukking 6th graders . My status just DOESN'T help in trying to make buds with your class mates. It's cool when friends want to cheat off of me though :p. Lulz in the hardest class that I have I'm like the second or first smartest guy there and everyone just wants to mooch off my answers XD

I'd generally not prefer to be around people who scream at the top of their lungs down the hall and always make big commotions as they dry hump eachother >_<

Heck, they didn't even pay attention to me when I talked, they just ignored me like I wasn't there, because I can't relate to all the immature humor they make like Fart jokes, screaming ****, tossing eachother into garbage cans. Not my forte, i'm more of a calm guy who talks about sports, video games, parties, all which they NEVER talked about, just farts, ****, tossing food, etc.

So when your no longer payed attention to and your humor doesn't match there and you generally don't enjoy being with them anymore, it's time to move on. Heck, I announced that to them one day and they just said whatever, turned their backs, and contnued their usual antics. They arn't exactly the nicest people to people who don't act mentally insane.

I'm MUCH happier now talking to everyone who talks about the same stuff I do, never ignore me, invite me to parties, and my time spent playing sports and the weight room has made me look much more attractive, puts a smile on my face everytime a girl asks to ask my shirt off as she winks at me (But I don't do anything too sexual since I have a gf...lol) Compliments are still nice though.

I will never regret the decision to wisely leave the people who didn't give a crap about me, I only hung up there because I wasn't exactly friends with alot of people and I had a best friend who introduced me to them, and he got sick of them too, so we BOTH left, a few people did because they saw the hell that I was starting to go though, you'd have to be there to fully understand what i'm trying to say.
