I quit a full year now. Casual player, but I might come back seeing as MK is banned. I have people that ask for advice, so they won't let me leave.

I was talking about matchup-wise.

I prefer yoshi as a character, in fact he's one of my top 5 favorite nintendo characters. I just stopped using him a few years ago because I like jumping out of shield.

Hi everybody who remembers me :D

Lol, Met-- I mean, Nordal.

The Match-Up really isn't that bad; it's fairly close. IMO, you've just played too many Yoshis and have too much knowledge of Yoshi compared to how much the Yoshi players have played Peach's and how little knowledge of Peach we have. =P

Specials too good.

It's not even me though. Polt beats Nicole (hi, since I know you namesearch), but Illmatic usually destroys Polt (from what I've heard anyway). Silly Kyle used to destroy Hades when he still lived in AZ.

I beat my friends snake!
But I didn't remember any of your advice.
I just Uair'd his balls off.
And Fair spiked him out of cypher.

But then he beat my ganon:(
then I beat him with diddy.

Anyways my yoshi better.

I beat kyle before my 3 month hiatus due to school stuff. When I came back he was a better player than me (and probably still is), constantly out placing me in tournament and beating players I lost to. When I went back to AZ this summer I didn't play yoshi against him for several reasons. I've beaten both nicole and Mikey recently in bracket. Peach only beats us because of special turnips. :p

And marth is -2 imo. :p

yeah i think yoshi/peach is pretty even but peach probably beats him by a little...i usually lose to him cause he's weird, and eggs are suuuuper annoying, and i dont know how to play the matchup properly.

SINCE I NAMESEARCH

I still say 0/= For Yoshi vs Peach. I may have only played illmatic in like... 1 friendly, A MM, and Recently at Nikefest 4. But each time I always got him to last stock high percent. Of course i'm a dumb ***** and don't know how to fight peach and use mostly two moves the whole game (Egg toss and Bair) and once she's at high percentage, I just throw out killing moves and hope I land them.

Of course I guess this logic can work for illmatic too since he doesn't know the Yoshi MU as well.

Well, it's pretty even imo.
There are only 5 Peach's i've played so far but... well, i never had the feeling that there's something to totally destroy her, or yoshi.
Also her air dodge sucks huge hairy glaDOS, so just throw some eggs.

I play against peach a ton, play tons of scrubby in state Peach players (we have like 5) and have played Praxis and Silly Kyle before. I say it's -1 for us. It's not bad at all and it's close to even, but I'd say she has a slight edge.

even-ish huh? i must know how~
It takes a lot of practice. The entire basis behind the MU comes from learning to read spacing and the differing options that occur in these altered spacings. I have A LOT of practice in the MU, and I originally thought it was bad, but I have a RIDICULOUS record against Marth, and I never feel particularly disadvantaged while playing.

The benefits of learning this MU are AMAZING though. I think it's made me as good a player as I am today, as the key to learning the MU is learning to space other characters and adjusting spacing well at mid range. This applies strongly EVERYWHERE, in EVERY match up. If you have a good Marth main in your accessible area, I highly recommend making him your practice partner.

Back when I mained Yoshi (like seriously mained Yoshi cuz I'm still ****ing good with him), I played Kyon quite a lot. The matchup is in Peach's favor, but not by much. Turnips are annoying for Yoshi. Eggs are annoying for Peach. IMO it all boils down to not getting impatient.

Eh, actually I consider myself pretty strong at the Yoshi matchup.
I've never lost to one in tournament and have only lost one to Polt in a money match.

You're pretty good at the matchup, Slush - regardless of your knowledge on it.
Better then Polt, imo.

It's fairly even, but slightly in Peach's favor.

Just try and play really patient, camp as much as possible and stay safe, and try to trade when possible as she's light and has low kill power.

Oh hey, your account is unbanned, Thought it was perm.
And my knowledge on Matchups are about as vast as the amount of sleep I get.
Little to none.

>play patient
>Camp
>Low Kill power
She makes up for that low kill power by racking up damage almost as quickly as Yoshi.
If landing the usual 2x Dair 1x Uair and Utilt that's already 42% given to you in the span of 4 seconds.

Only times I actually do any camping is usually on my last stock, or against snake/MK.
And even then I still can't stand camping and usually start approaching really aggressively (Which works against most people I play).

The only time Hades beat me in the past was in pools. I have a strong record against him in bracket and money matches. I am sad that last time we played, he went DDD and G&W. Now I play Yoshiken here in AZ (he will be the next top Yoshi) and continue to beat him. We have hype matches.

Besides :yoshi2: being free, I'd say the matchup is +1 or +2 for :peach:.
