The body armor is quite interesting, maybe sci-fi isn't so much fantasy anymore is it is in real life in the works.

As for the force field, I'm disappointed to see that it's just a "counter-missile-thingimabob" to a missile being fired, but works like a forcefield nonetheless. Let's see, they say that it works by using a radar system, then an automatic cannon fires some kind of "deactivator" that does not completly destroy the missile but take away it's explosive potential.

This is ncie to know.

the bad news - unless someone tricks bombs into being amazing, there isn't going to be much to talk about around here

Well if the armor allows you to lift 500lb with ease. then it will be lift as many times as you can handle it. as for the force field, its still new. with time it will get better.
