Flayl that sucks, seeing as this has happened to quite a few other online games I myself have played, but then again, I don't have to fork out 60 :/

I haven't posted in here forever!

My love for Disney may very well have landed me a girl.

Playing doubles with Bowser, again.

Here's what happened: Attempted Bowsercide, my teammate (Ness) PKThunders, Bowser flies right into it.

Result? I end up at the very bottom of the screen, but my Bowsercide victim stays right above Ness.

The **** is Brawl. I'm sending that to the bahamut guy to be put in the combo video for lulz

but I'll see if there's anyone else who can record it. I'd ask Flayl but I have a brand new Wii and everything. lol

No, it's different. I had all the time in the world to live (2 seconds) but I was at the blast zone so I couldn't do anything but drop my controller and laugh.

I need to finish Psychonauts and MGS4, I've put those games on hold for too long.
How far are you in MGS4? Game wasn't that great, IMO. And no, I'm not parroting Yahtzee-

"Christ! This **** is bananas!"

-that much. I admittedly only really jumped on board with MGS3 and went back and played 2 and 1 as well as a bit of the even older stuff on MGS3: Subsistence. I was actually really stoked about MGS4. Then some time passed and my roommate played it and I watched and I watched and I watched... dear god, I had to marvel at the amount of **** Kojima was feeding us. I thought it was bad in the previous games, specifically 2, the mid point, with it's [SPOILIERS!] "hurr hurr hurr! This was ALL just a clever reenactment of the first game made just for Raiden for some reason we'll never explain! :D "

Anyway, MGS4 was made up of three distinct parts: tying up loose ends, making more loose ends to tie which lead to the already tied ends being tied to other already tied ends, and a healthy helping of nostalgia. And I mean LOTS of nostalgia. So much so that the final fight would have been kinda cool if it didn't suck so much gameplay wise.

And even after the final fight and everyone's hanging out and celebrating, Kojima shows up with another dump truck full of **** with that look on his face. You know the one...

D:

Then the credits roll.

Then you get audio only dialog thing, but that was to be expected. It's been in every game.

THEN THERE'S MORE!

No! Really! There's MORE after that!

By the time this game ended and Kojima was finally FINALLY FINALLY through, I was curled in a fetal position around my pillow, whimpering and crying like I was 5 and I'd just finished watching Nightmare on Elm Street. It was a truely horrific experience. T_T

k dead boards

My Bowser has hit a brick wall. I can't seem to get better, and I'm being beat consistently when I use him.
I should practice the grab release things, but that would only marginally help me since I'm pretty bad at getting grabs.

Convince me to keep using him!

Your first and main option should be ^.

Or you could learn to grab and get good so you don't get beat. lul

Anybody got some banana tricks they want to share?

I've been trying to do the footstool -> down throw banana infinite with Bowser on Diddy. It's really hard but it still seems possible.

I learned how to do footstool -> down throw banana -> fast-fall klaw, which is a legitimate combo that gives you around 23 damage. Also full hopping over Diddy -> down throw banana -> bowser bomb for even more damage. I forget the kill % though.

Hello Bowser boards! My name is Junglefever and I help moderate the Smashboards Information Center. At the SIC, we are attempting to create a mentoring program for older and newer members to go to so that they can progress in their smash career on a more personal level than just SWF. Mentors communicate to their pupils through PMs and AIM, in addition to playing WIFI with each other. We believe that the Mentoring Program is a good addition along with the character boards to help members get better.

So what do i need from you guys? I need a couple volunteers from your character board that are willing to mentor pupils one on one and help them get better at their desired character.

For any interested, please PM me the character you are interested in mentoring in, and what exactly you can bring to the table. How long have you been a Bowser main? Do you go to tourneys? Do you have access to wifi? What achievements have you earned in your time smashing?

Thanks guys! Hope to hear back from you soon!

Well, finished Red Dead. There was a nice climax in the story NEAR the end, but then it just keeps going and just sorta peters out in the end. And I don't want to spoil it, but something happens that's really really ***. D:

@Junglefever: Hasn't this already been tried before? I mean, is it just me, or does that seem REALLY familiar...

The Smash school, which is what I believe you're referring to, failed for several reasons that have been taken to account in overhauling the mentoring program in the SIC. However, I'm still in need for at least one mentor for Bowser, and would love for a frequenter of the bowser boards to help out.

Please and Thank you!
