What do you think of this Bowser color:

I'll probably start using it as my color. I normally use white.

I use a Swampert colored Bowser (texture).

I normally use the gold Bowser but I might switch to the blue/moss color, since green is my favorite color anyway

It looks ok but to be honest there's nothing really special about it.

I use RPG Bowser as my standard then have a strikers one, a SNES one, a Dark (Bowser's Inside Story), a Dry Bower
one, and an N64 one.

My Castle Seige also has Bowser Jr. and some minions in the second phase.

Is that like a Mario Striker Bowser or something?
Yeah, he has a red shell and the gloves he wears, but without the claws. It's also lacking the number 66. I have a strikers Diddy too that's also lacking his number 5. Coincidently I ended up getting the number 5 for my team and am also a playmaker by playstyle, although I can't just magically get people red carded....

It's a shame that game's meta died out, it had a really good one. Hopefully they make on for the Wii U.

Louis Bowser is the best. :)

Louis Bowser is a texture made for me that looks like Louis from The Princess and the Frog (my avatar).

Oh, I thought you meant that there was an actual solid, glittering gold texture hack for Bowser or something. :(

Just came back from a tournament.
I went all-Bowser and lost in Semifinals...ranking 4th.

Lost to a MK that only D-Air and Tornado camped. ): (2-stocked)

Good stuff, Swei. How many people entered the tourney?

It also sucks to hear that about MK. Personally, I'll be using someone else against MKs from here on out, because all the MKs I play actually understand how to deal with Bowser now. :p

Well, to be honest...we were like 18, and only three of us were good. ): (no offense to the other players) It wasn't really something impressive because the other players were bad and the two MKs were actually decent. Neither of them understand Bowser and understimated him to some point, until I have beaten them (on friendlies before the tournament). I've had better options, but I decided to stick with Bowser on purpose.
I plan to go all-Bowser on the first day of the 2-day tournament coming in June, and that tournament is organized by people who actually know the game and have people who partake often, so they actually know how to play.

I'm afraid I don't have a picture, Swei, but most of my Austin videos have me using the texture.

Uncle, love the pic. XD

As for MK, use whoever you're most comfortable with. I still use Bowser because he's by far my most comfortable character. MKs either fear Bowser or get excited about Tornadoing the hell out of him. Use their different mindset to your advantage.

Why would they fear Bowser? xd I have a friend who does, but only because I catch him by surprise beating him Bowser-MK.
Bowser is my best option against MK too, it seems. But then again, I feel my mains just do that (Yoshi, Bowser & gaw)

When you start doing dumb crap like UpBing him out of everything and GRing them off every punish, they can get pretty scared.

But once they know the matchup, that rarely happens.

I have trouble against spammy players, is all.
Like that n00b Ike that wins because he spams jab.

It's completely predictable but it doesn't mean I know how to deal with it well. :| I feel butthurt when losing to those. It seems I was just playing in a hurry again. :@
Against the MK, I got pwned in the air by Tornado spam. I was busy trying to Klaw him. It was on Smashville.

I went to my first tourney the other day.

I thought to myself that there'd be no point to learn the GR uair because no one uses Puff.

Then I found out there was a LT tourney and got knocked out by a Puff.

I got my two sets from the proper tourney recorded so I'll link them if they get uploaded.

I also got lipcided in a Bowser ditto on PS1.

That's why it's always good to practice minor stuff, even though you may not use it.

It MIGHT save your butt one day.

What MrEh said.

Swei, it sounds like you need to just take it slow. I used to have a BIG problem against noobs, and it really frustrated me. Then I realized sometimes the best thing to do against Nado is to just run from it. :p

You can often punish it with Klaw. If your opponent starts spotdodging after it, and the good ones will, upsmash or pivot grab them.

I'll definitely learn the uair for my next tourney. I haven't really practiced any GRs except for dtilt so when I'm not KOing I usually just sideb or jab-sideb.

I did some nice jab cancels and bomb set ups though, so if my sets ever get uploaded maybe you guys can give me some advice.

Gee, I wish my place would allow hacks to upload sets. To them, it's a waste of times because "nobody will see them" and who knows what else.

If Bowser had more love he'd lose the only thing he has going for him, which is lack of MU knowledge on the opponent's behalf. He could also lose his eligibility for low tier tourneys.

He has a good shot in LTs, as he has good MUs on the biggest threats, which are the Mother boys and Puff, and has a decent MU with Mario. He has to watch out for Samus though.

-You can Klaw Hop over banana peels, which helps you approach.

-Know how to Z-Catch and Instant Item Throw, because they might come in handy.

-Know how to glide toss, because you can give Diddy a taste of his own medicine if you have a peel in hand. FSmash followups, anyone?

-Get him off the stage. Diddy thrives on controlling the stage, and his recovery isn't the best. Bowser is no gimping expert, but he can definitely rack up Diddy's damage or even possibly land a killing aerial.

-Be mindful of how you tech or techroll, because predictable decisions will result in Diddy doing horrible things to you constantly.

-At higher percents, you can prevent yourself from getting hit by the 2nd hit of Diddy's FSmash.

-Never waste a banana peel in your hand. Don't just throw it straight at him or off the stage. Keep it in your hand for a while (so he can't generate a 2nd one) and find an appropriate time to use it.

Anyone else care to add or correct anything?

Anyway, it's a tough -2 MU, but I consider it a fun one, unlike certain other -2s (Falco, I'm looking at you. :glare:).

I actually disagree, I have more fun fighting Falco than Diddy Kong, but Uncle covered a couple of nice points
