I am Ansuz. And unfortunately, quite a few players weren't included in the ranking. We are usually around 30~, and it was no different this time.

Just checked. We were 37 people in that tournament.

Anyway, how well does Bowser's F-Smash fare among the other F-Smashes? Is it one of the strongest or does it just have great damage? I have been feeling dissapointed with it lately as it can't kill as early as gaw/Luigi's.

Yeah it's weak all things considered. One of the most obvious things Sakurai did wrong when you look at Bowser.

I wouldn't call it weak, just slightly above average in power. It's just a little dissapointing IMO. For a long time, I thought Bowser was an offensive character, and that's how I've been playing him until I got tips from you guys. I just thought his power would be a redeeming quality.

I'm sorry, mang. I thought you wouldn't notice.

Who is that woman? She looks funny. And familiar.

That's just Fuujin trying to troll.

Bowser's fsmash is only really strong when both hits connect. Its rearback makes it stand out, though. Use it!

Can I say that playing Marvel has helped my grab release reaction time?

I was decent before, but now...whoa...

it's like magic or something

or probably muscle memory

I still trying to learn the timing of grab realease, but i don't got the timing yet sadly. :( I can do it on ppl who mash rapidly only cuz i can just super armor grab them to continue the grab. :/

All right, it's time to crack down on my Bowser game. I don't know if you guys noticed, but I've gradually been "phasing out" my secondaries in order to focus on developing my Bowser. My past 5 tourneys have either been all Bowser or 90%+ Bowser. Anyway, the way I see it is: If I truly want to be seen as a "great Bowser," then I need to work on mastering this character, which means playing Bowser in ****ty MUs I normally wouldn't use him for (like Wario).

Essentially, I want to learn how to be competent with Bowser against any kind of foe, which should be a requirement of any Bowser main who wishes be considered at the top of his game, imo. By some stroke of luck, I was crowned the #4 Bowser in the Western Hemisphere, so it's time to start playing like I deserve it.

This obviously means you'll be seeing more videos from me, because footage of me (as Bowser) is still scarce as hell. I feel like the critique you guys gave me for my previous two videos is already helping, so I'm naturally thirsty for more. It's time to take my Bowser to the next level.

Glad to hear it, Uncle--I've been noticing only Bowser's been next to your name recently. :) Looking forward to seeing more videos of you and seeing you improve.

Yeah, good luck in reaching for the top. The competition is next-to-dead, but the means to improve are still plentiful. I have faith in you and look forward to seeing you up there.

And we'll help you too, get those videos in here man.

Very well, Uncle. Your Bowser is one to be aspired. (: (And so are you as a Bowser main)

Bowser is my, secondary character, but I always use him in tournaments. It didn't go too well, but that's because I'm a mediocre player (probably sub-par). I am trying to raise him in the tier list here.

By the way, Limit. Will you update the Bowser locator thread? I posted my tournament results. I also have some results from the tournament of this month, in which I used Bowser.

It's alright. It's to help Bowser, though. Right?

Anyway, I come here today to rant about this n00b MK player who started playing for almost 2 months, and he's had some progress. I can almost say he's decent. The problem I have is when I lose to him. How can I lose to someone like that? And I'm not one to blame wifi play but...alot of the time things like the D-Smash and the Up-B OoS won't come out, which causes me to take alot of hits and losses I could've avoid. It's also kind of hard to punish Side B online, he uses it alot.

I am so stubborn I refuse to aknowledge him as a good player just because he's winning because of that.

Oh, I suck. :urg:

But if it doesn't lag? Our matches don't lag, most of the time. Today I had a problem with the control not working and got 3-stocked because of that. I lost a life without even moving. ):

I see. 80

Anyway, I am looking for advice reguarding Bowser again. Lately, every time I choose Bowser I am winning. But I can't stop thinking that I am playing to simple-mindedly. I find myself doing Klaw and OoS Up-B alot (mostly the latter). I don't use jab very much, and I do use F-Tilt moderately. While these are all good moves and I win, I feel like I need more variation. What other things do pro Bowsers do that I should be doing? I see them combine the first jab with klaw or a grab, but I don't have the intelligence to pull that off in a fight. ):

practice makes perfect

and if it's working for you and you're winning then don't change it, there's no point
