Tried getting back into it a bit this week. Game is still fun, but...

What made the game great is gone. The real sense of community on servers is absolutely, completely dead now. The new fights are designed well but just don't have the same oomph they used to.

I guess what it really comes down to is:

God, I miss Ulduar.

Ulduar and Karazhan are my favorite two raids. Catacylsm/MoP hasn't really impressed me thus far with boss fights

i've always preferred ele. i never did like the changes they made to ele shaman, hence the dk being before her. my warlock is actually higher level than the shaman so maybe i should have put that second.
i was a shaman from 05 to 09.


i have a rogue too but in terrible gear and only like 82

Also, anybody have any tips for a BM hunter in pvp? I really want to get into pvp and my hunter is my only 90 toon.

yeah, talents, pets, my primary spells, anything to help me get started

I mean some talents vary but IIRC, You want disengage + net, silencing shot, aspect of the iron hawk, lynx rush, power shot.

Why would you not take binding shot, Tura? It's way better imo, especially if you're good at kiting and cordoning off people with traps and stuns. If we're talking arenas, well, sure.

cloak cd was cut in half tho

smoke bomb has more utility ( reduces dmg you and allies take by 20% )

shadow step isn't mandatory due to the new cloak and dagger talent

and then we get new toys to play with :

New Level 90 Talent: Marked for Death
Marks a target and instantly generates 5 combo points. When that target dies, Marked for Death's cooldown is reset. This talent has a 1 minute cooldown.


New Level 60 Talent: Cloak and Dagger
Ambush, Garrote, and Cheap Shot now have a 30 yard range, and will cause the Rogue to teleport behind the target.

Shadowstep is better.

It gives so much more versatility because you can also step to allies. :/

I got my Blue Proto Drake like two weeks ago. I'd solicit my body for the Onyxian Drake. That is all.

And Elemental Shaman.. might as well take all your gear off and /dance.

Seriously though, having a blast with it. Not too worried about whatever issues there are about it being a little underpowered or whatever.

Yeah, Ele shaman and BAlance Druids are probably the worst 2 in PvP. Shame they're really fun elsewhere.

Boomie is viable. Hard, but possible. Relies on exact precise rotations, spacing, and great gear. Also knowing when to run.

And when you're in australia and half second lag, it's pretty much impossible.

I miss the days of early Cata where spamming Moonfire was viable

I don't think that has changed in the Boomkin metagame... just that they now also spam Ursols Vortex. I hate that move. Then they silence you.

WW now has bad DPS, insane survivability. LoS across the arena? Yeah.
