If the MK is at the right height you can't DI out like that. One of the hitboxes of the tornado will interrupt you before you get high enough to jump out. The princple of the "correct" DI against the Tornado is to DI where the hitbox takes the longest to "respawn" which is at the very center.

Edit: T got 13th / 140 @ Bushido Impact. Semifer also got 25th I think

ya, thats what ive been trying to practice, but like i said whenever it happens i just kinda panic and have the mindset of getting out like i always have. adjusting to new things takes a while for me but i think i getter better that way.
