I saw you burst the balloon in the second set though :B Then you showed him the wrath of Aura Dog.

If you really wanted to troll him you should've went Ganon the first full set and pulled him above the ledge slightly with Volcano Kick's wind box and let him have a taste of pure evil.

DK's Up B is just asking to get dunked too with DAir.

DK can't do much to safely get up on the ledge if Ganon spaces DTilts, right?

Aura Sphere charge is soooo good. I was a little surprised you didn't go for more BAirs out of it though, it can true combo from ASC at stupidly high percents.

To be honest DK is probably the easiest character to combo ASC to BAir because he's so fat. Seriously Sakurai, let's outstretch his arms more to make his hurtbox bigger.

The more I think about it once DK is at kill % and we get him with a grounded Aura Sphere charge we will always have a kill setup on him.

Hi Lucario mainers, it's been a long time since I didn't watch the Lucario thread. I just want some tips and maybe help for my Lucario , I played Smash 4 for the FIRST time this Week end , i really can't wait to start tourney in Smash 4 (I was really often in tournaments for Brawl last year) but I need to know the game a lot of more probably. Try not to b-reverse so aggressively against Mario, he'll gladly answer it with a bair every time. Although your little dance over Chrom at the end was beautiful, it only worked because he started panicking for the kill.

Battlefield is an awful choice against Yoshi in general, but it depends on the player. Nikes wasn't overly campy, so he had no problems rushing you, and both of your last stocks were because you got caught on a platform. If the Yoshi is really egg-happy, then maybe, otherwise I'd sooner recommend Final D again.

If your Aura is as high as it was at 8:38 (vs Nikes) and his shield is that low, honestly, I'd probably start spamming Force Palm. You're hanging by a thread with a stock to spare anyway and FP isn't awful at breaking shields. If he messed up his powershield, it would have been gg (unless he just took it, of course)

Use grab more.

Decent play and movement in general, but you need to play the MUs a bit better and tighten up your punishes. Learn which attacks are safe on shield and then don't punish them with Force Palm, much as you really, really want to.

Thanks for the advice! I presume Mario can probably have a field day upsmashing b-reverses as well, so I'll work on doing something else.

Nikes is very aggressive, but can also play very campy. If you watch one of the matches from SAFGC r6 (i think) he throws 10-15 eggs in a row at one point before I decide to approach (fd).
Looking back on the point you mentioned, fp was definitely the right call.

Don't get hit by greninja's nair - it's his combo starter
Move around a lot more
You threw out way too many smash attacks
Don't whiff moments when your opponent is wide open, eg 1:54 vid 1
Water shuriken - shield it or counter it
When using Extreme Speed coming back onto the stage, make sure to slide along the ground so you don't get 60 frames of lag

So I went to my first tourney in approximately a month, and I have improved so much! somehow went 12 - 0 in pools, 6 ppl per pool, 48 people total. Played a couple games onstream vs a couple PR players, Definitely not one sided sets, both were pretty close IMO. was pretty jank how I lost to viev game 3 actually

Double dsmash around 0.30...?
Your recovery at 1.20 was very unsafe - fox should have simply dsmashed
You daired a lot into his shield which barely worked at all
Good double fp string at 4.13, only seen Kami do that so far

Viev
Against luigi, at low % di in so you don't get double faired
It looks like you were trying to read the sh fair at 4.10, but that was still super unsafe

nb overall, your biggest flaw being mu inexperience imo

FP to FP is true combo irrc, the double dsmash was me getting used to the tv kinda, all the dsmashes i did were supposed to be sh dairs, so I think the tv had a bit of lag. Ik my recovery was unsafe, but it was a mixup, he hadnt seen me do it yet, he thought it was going to hit him lol. dair onshield was pretty bad, but if i didn't i figured he'd punish my landing anyway, Maybe I could fastfall spotdodge/shield or try to hit him with an asc mixup or something.
