I find that Charizard's spike is the most spectacular of them all. I mean, Charizard retracts his feet and then DRIVES them into the opponent. I adore this spike because it is so manageable and it is very reliable.

I often use it in combos that would render helpless and, otherwise, annihilate opponents, both on-stage and off-stage. Given Charizard's ability to 'jump' three times (if you embark from the stage), you have many chances to score a satisfying spike.

My personal favorites in order: Ice Climbers (have you ever grabbed someone like Snake while they are trying to recover and then made Nana spike them to their doom? Pure magic), Mario, Ness, Ike, and Ganondorf.
