I think I've seen her lurking around here on the forums.

Honestly, though. Isn't grabbing integral to SSB 64's metagame anyway? That's how I set up most of my combos with my non-Fox/non-Kirby characters.

Grabs are way too good in SSB. If you want to win, you grab in that game. I mean seriously, since when is not using the grab "skillful."

Also, if the person grabs too much, he is predictable thus, can be punished. I honestly do not understand scrubs.

Yup. Best point right there. Theres one person that Ive played twice now, hes a fox main and he violently hates captain falcon users if they use fthrow, usmash, or uair. pretty much 3 of falcons essential moves. He uses fox and spams ftilt into grabs and just tries the usual nooby fox stuff. Killed me once or twice till i figured out his style and the way he moved so I started 3-4 stocked him since if I get a few hits on you falcon vs fox I usually get a kill out of it really fast.

Twice ive played him and as soon as I start winning he freaks, tells me I grab too much wah wahh scrub scrub and kicks me.

The thing is , if yoU GOT GRABBED you did something wrong .. and basically EVERYONE will grab when they get the chance. It either knocks you really far for an edgeguard, or sets up for a combo.

Im sad to see the only girl gamer on kaillera is a scrub, she thinks very highly of herself rating herself as ''above average'' in some thread when now that ive seen her ness I honnestly wouldnt place her above most kaillera pubbies.

things are going rather well for me online, Id say. I win wayyy more than I lose and even vs opponents who beat me the first game I always observe their style and change mine to get those essential combo starters and mindgames and I can usually start winning. My combos are finally coming together too

Managed to beat a guy from the PP-S clan (one of the stronger ones, the one I wish to join) and he told me I had really good mindgames and generally owned.

Okay so when do I get to move UP? I'm better than Dark, I know I'm better than Thino, DaveUK we have some awesome fights, and Meowkitty is just abit better than me. I want to challenge so I can reach the top!

I think itll be fun to burst her bubble. Beat her when practically sandbagging 50 percent before, wont be hard to take her down.

Shes the type that has all the ness combos down but expects you to run right into them and will probably whine if I play properly, ie : use mindgames and force her to give me an opening.

Falco plus running at waiting opponent equals falcon dead. Remember his recovery? Yeah its not all that good

Falcon plus mindgames plus get control plus combo plus keep pressure on opponent after combo ends if the opponent isnt dead equals falcon alive, you dead

Seems like you are getting better, I wish to fight you again. I haven't improved, actually worsened, but it will be fun to fight you. And yes, I try to grab as much as I can, but I have the problem that I rush in, instead of waiting and pressuring. I could be a lot better if I basically used te Fireballs more to force a rushdown. I don't know, old noob habits, they never go away. In the meantime, I'm going to play with some pubbies.

There are ways to set up combos without grabbing...and there are ways to set up combos with grabbing. Neither is better than the other. If you're getting comboed with grabs all the time, it means you're susceptible to grabs and you have to adapt your playstyle to counter that. It doesn't mean your opponent is cheap. If you give your opponent an opportunity to grab five times, do you expect him to only do grab combos for half of those openings? Of course not.

Look at Jiggs in 64. If you can grab at low percentage against a fast faller, he's dead. If you can drill a fast faller at low percentage he's dead. But if you leave me an opening for the former every time, why should I bother with the latter?

Anyway, sorry for the ramble, I'm still waiting on my...uncooperative...computer. When it's fixed, I'd like to play you again Dylan, even if I haven't played for at least a month.

This might seem really random, but I just realized how hilarious it is for some video game-related things to be brought into real life.

A while back, during a MLG Halo 2 Tourney I went to, we were in a Taxi, and the driver was always hitting green lights. My friend said, "Man, he has the spawn times on those red lights down pretty good."

I also remember a time where someone was telling me how funny it would be if he falcon punched someone for not getting exact change. Just try to picture it now. Falcon...PUNCH!

The most recent example was today. When someone asked what they should with a finished apple (no garbage can in sight), I said, "Destroy the core!" Of course, nobody got the reference. Oh well...

I think Dylan knew that, and was simply kidding, saying that Yoshi has a huge amount of potential or something. What you should realize is that these are my opinions, Wes is an annoying black dude, and Bombsoldier is an extremly technical asian child with no mindgames, and the way that I present them was if anything an effort in trying to be humerous. Your post was after mine and you used the word "you" a huge amount of times, so I was confused, especially since the only time I said you had anger issues was in your initial flaming when you were new.

And yes, do take the time to beat someone with intellegence rather than insults. Not only do I dislike insults, but intellegence makes the prey in question feel like an idiot, and makes THEM resort to insults, thus giving THEM an infraction.
