College in Canada is a lot cheaper. Like a course that's 24k there is like 5K here
One 1/2 year semester costs me -$7k, and it includes as many courses as I want.

I got the free/loan money ratio a little skewed before, but whatever

I was speaking as in general.

School in general, not just University.

The States do have some fantastic Universities, couple that with that they offer both Academic and Athletic scholarships(something that Canada doesnt do)

That's because in Canada school sports are almost non-existant. We have some school tournaments but no spectators go and it's really not that hard to get on most tvs outside of highschools focused on their athletics

pretty amazing to get 4th at ones very first tournament ever huh
oh wait hes dominated mexico and played for a long *** time?!

oh but wait, only flopmerican tournaments count, because flopmerica is the center of the universe.

and what reasons do you have to beleive that mexico isn't better?
i think eveyone should have to prove themselves in mexico, it makes just as much sense.
Lol so stupid. Why do you think armada didn't pull his **** out of your mouth and travel to Mexican tournaments? Oh yeah, now I remember, he pulled his **** out of your mouth and came to AMERICA, where the largest and most competitive tournaments are held.

^^I like this guy

Also ALL of the best colleges in the world are in America, we might get blown away by other countries' kids but we more than make up for it in college

As for cost, just be smart and get scholarships.

^Your economy aint that great. What is this anyways, top 10 countries of 2012? I think we need to stop **** riding our nations right now. They all suck in comparison to finland anyways. This goes for Mike Haggar too.

Call me when you guys have your moonbase and I'll talk about moving you ahead of finland :awesome:

Edit: wow I guessed Finland too, not sure how relevant this source is though

It's hard for me to put in order, but i'll try my best.

Armada, Mango, and Hbox are probably the top 3 hands down(Armada probably being first, not sure about the other two since Hbox and Mango are about equal when they place). Armada is consistently winning or at least places very high and has been for a while now. Hungrybox and Mango are both consistently placing very high in tournaments.

After that, Shroomed, M2k, and KirbyKaze are probably next(Can't think of an exact order). They all do consistently well at the events they go to. Im actually suprised we dont see shroomed on more of these lists because he has done fantastic the last two tournaments hes been in.

I'm honestly not sure who to put after that... Probably Hax, Wobbles, and Axe. Maybe Taj, but im not so sure. Definitely at least Wobbles and Hax though.

As for Javi... I cant really place him since ive only seen him perform at one tournament, though if i went entirely on his play there he'd probably be in the top 10. Hell even the top 5, he's an excellent player.

You are so hateful and ignorant it honestly aggrivates me.

Everyone is entilted to their own beliefs, hopes and dreams.

And you call Americans stupid for believing that their savior will come.

Every nation has its issues, and honestly, calling out one nations for obvious **** that even they are aware of, its pointless.

You are sitting here calling them "Obese", "Mentally ********" and that America is the land of the "Dumb extremist". Honestly if you are willing sit behind a keyboard and fire shots like that like, then you must be horribly.. horribly ignorant.

I'd drop mango below pp and possibly switch pp with hbox, though they're pretty even so it could go either way. Other than that I'd switch wobbles and had and your list would be pretty accurate.

I don't think I've ever had your opinion about me. =P
I think you're really limited by your character, something you probably already understand better than I do.

I think you did awful with chu in teams (I play with him often so I have more experience with the "correct" choices) but that's partially because of the actual team combination (ICs and ganon can't cover each other at all) and partially because hungrybox kinda ***** you in that particular set.

I think you and armada are the 2 best players at controlling "the box", which is basically on smaller tri-platform stages like fountain of dreams, battlefield, yoshi story between the 2 side platforms but under the top one. The boundaries set by the platform makes a box shape.

I think Linguini is better vs Fox/Falco/Sheik than you are, but that you're better at the other MUs, specifically things like the falcon or peach matches.

I like the way you inspire people outside of the game to aspire to their dreams because when you say things like:

**** no, it's real life. You can always be better than you already are.
you actually sound EXACTLY like I do in person. I totally agree with those things, but I disagree with you when you try to extend those ideas to the game, which is fundamentally limited by itself. You also tend to say those things in an eccentric manner which makes people not take you seriously. I say the same things but I say them in a practical way that makes sense and people buy into it more.

I think you looked better before you shaved your head.

I think your set vs m2k's sheik from one of the 2 genesises was ****ing awesome but i forget which tournament it was. particularly the DL64 match.

I think you should chaingrab more. ganon's throws are super underrated and you could make them look as good as they actually are but i don't see you grab much.

Kage is inspirational.

"If this guy is smart enough to be a top player, anybody is."

Hm.. well that's pretty much true.. you nailed most of it, I'm impressed. =D I'm taking notes already. =)

But I mean I do think whatever you learned from the game or out of it can be used vice versa, I don't see why not.. both are connected to life. But ya for ICs/Ganon, it was hard to suppress pressure situations since I was always scared to hit Nana if Chu was forced to shield and it did happen a few times. Also, we hit each other accidentally a little too many times to move forward for 4th place... oh well ya controlling space with this combination is awkward.

Bald kage is training kage. Like a monk he is learning to understand the universe.
But real talk, bald kage isn't the best choice as a counter pick too bearded mango

what is this thread about again? Top ten players...I think this sums it up.

tl;dr of the entire thread: shroomed *****. some other people are ok too.
I mean really, we've got a list of about 15-20 good players and about 7 that make the cut and the rest are switched in and out in certain posts. Until we have an upset it's

M2K, Mango, HBox, PP, Armada, Shroomed, KK, Wobbles, Javi, Hax in no specific order

Who the **** said anything about economies? We're talking about higher education here. It's common knowledge that many countries (e.g. south korea) have great educational systems up until high school, but the US has probably 28 out of the top 30 colleges and much better colleges overall than the rest of the world. Cambridge and Oxford are OK but looking at it objectively not a patch on yale/princeton/harvard/stanford/chicago/MIT. That's why America produces the world's great thinkers so consistently.

Ok, when everyone in America gets that level of education that'd be great for america. Fact still remains that Finland got number one there from economy, average education, health care. You've got 1 out of 3 and that 1 isn't even 1 since America has some really expensive education, even when it comes too non-Ivy League.

But what I said was a joke, note the moonbase and :awesome:

Cambridge is ranked no. 1 in the world right now, and Oxford and UCL are top 10. At least look at the ranking before talking.
The list that I believe you're referring to is pretty lulzy. Princeton (#1 or 2 in the US according to most sources) at 13, with the University of Michigan at 14? OK bro. These QS peeps have got to be brits who've never visited america before. Their methodology is whack as ****--citations per faculty member? number of international faculty? Yeah, those correlate 1:1 with how good a school is

The Times has all US for top 3, as does the ARWU. So in two (the more reliable two) of the three major ranking systems, we take gold, silver, and bronze, as well as 25 of the top 30 or whatever.

Even with your (cherry-picked) list, you have to admit that the US would win a crew battle there. we've got like 12 of the top 15. There's pretty much no argument for any other country in the world--or even the rest of the world combined--being our equals in higher education.

Ok, when everyone in America gets that level of education that'd be great for america. Fact still remains that Finland got number one there from economy, average education, health care. You've got 1 out of 3 and that 1 isn't even 1 since America has some really expensive education, even when it comes too non-Ivy League.
No one smart enough to get into a good college in America is unable to afford it. Loans (which you'll be able to pay if you're really that smart) are available if you need them, and schools fall over themselves to pay for smart poor kids. Furthermore, it's not just the ivies that we have over you--even our so-so state-sponsored universities (that pretty much anyone who did any work at all in high school can get into) outclass your best universities. That's the difference between our countries; Americans are given the opportunity to do great things and rewarded when they do them, while Finns are handed everything by their government and rewarded without regards to their contributions, and aren't at any point prepared to accomplish anything significant.

After watching a bit more play from PP and mango, I think you're actually right on PP being the better player. I'm hesitant to switch him with hungrybox though.

I'm still unsure about the last few, I really think axe and wobbles are in the top 10.
