Strangely, a game called "Master of Orion 3", i got into it when i was 14, a space 4x game that was pretty terrible, but quite fun just to dabble in

Valk Chronicles are okay, but nothing special. If I'm going to play a Sega rpg I'm going to play Phantasy Star.

Lolz I got two:

1) (You're guna eat me alive for this) : Maplestory : But hey it's not AMAZING, but it's not terrible either.

2) FFX-2 I thought the gameplay was fun. And the girls.

lolololol

Who here played Giest? It was a pretty average FPS but the whole "you're a ghost and can possess stuff" made the game have so much potential. It's a **** shame that they didn't give you some freedom to possess whatever you'd like to think of inventive ways to set up traps and kill baddies and stuff.

I had such high hopes for this game... It really just kind of disappointed though.

I can't believe I haven't said this, Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the GC.

This game has three of Nintendo's most well known puzzle games, Dr. Mario, Panel De Pon, and Yoshi's Cookies. All three games in one disk, with the ability to use your GBA as a controller, at a great price when it was out, (I believe it was around $30 before, now around $20). I don't know why this game wasn't out for any other country other than Japan, I'm sure it would had sold very well.

I wouldn't call it "amazing", but I thought The Simpsons: Road Rage was a pretty underrated game. Also, the Wolverine game(360/PS3 version) was really underrated too. A lot of people ignored it because it was a movie game, and the movie it was based on wasn't even that great, but the game was actually really good.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer was pretty amazing, it had around 40 tracks at least, plus awesome graphics and vehicle playstyles. The only thing I didn't like was that music only played on the final lap, so you pretty much only heard your engine, repair bots (which ride the ship and repair it while you drive), the characters, and the terrain for the first few laps, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially since the tracks are awesome and somewhat difficult, especially in comparison with most licensed racers.

So I was down at a local used book store and saw a copy of Sonic Shuffle for three bucks. I remembered my friend renting it years ago and we both agreed that it sucked. So I decided that it'd be a good lol to pick it up and laugh over it with a few friends. So I got two other friends together and dragged my Dreamcast over there and played two rounds of the game.

I have to say, it's nowhere near as bad as I remember it being. Yes, I'll admit that the computer is a cheating ******* (like how they always seem to know exactly what cards you have) and there are some really poor game design choices (like not being able to pause on anything except for the board, how easy it is to loose rings, mini games will just start on their own regardless of if you're ready or not, ect.) but we actually had a surprising amount of fun. I actually wish that Sega would put out a refined sequel so that way they could put some of the good ideas in the game to their full potential.

It wasn't underrated at the time but it seems like everyone has forgotten Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem! That game was hella creepy.
I reallllly need to get a copy of this game, I hear this all the time and still have yet to play it.

Final Fantasy Tactics. It's not that underrated, but it's my first and probably last strategy game that I like. Love it, actually. Hands down my favorite FF.

Probably my favorite single player game (haven't played that many though because I like multiplayers)

Not really sure if this counts, considering it got tons of praise and whatnot, but hardly anybody I talk to has played it...
Shadow of the Colossus.
That game is amazing. The plot is amazing... you aren't given much to go on other than the fact that Mono is dead and Wander wants her to come back to life (Thus the fighting of the colossi), but that allows you to interpret it however you wish. The gameplay was solid, and incredibly fun. Climbing to the top of the colossi, solving puzzles to get there, and then stabbing them in the head/back/wherever the weak point is made the game amazingly fun.

Seriously? Everyone I know who can call themselves a gamer with a straight face has played that one.

EDIT: So am I the only one who found this game to be incredible?

90% of Atlus localized or produced games.
Also Skies of Arcadia, Muramasa the demon blade, Sin and punishment 2.

The latter two were very well received awesome games that didn't sell well at all.
Murmasa got pirated to death and for some reason not many people are buying S&P 2
Good wii games never sell the way they should....then you wonder why companies don't bother trying to get out of waggle and minigames.

I'm really surprised that no one has said The World Ends With You yet. That game was really great, and I will buy a 3DS the instant they announce a sequel.

Now that I think about, nearly the entire exclusive Library for the Game Cube was underrated and I found almost all of them amazing.

Seriously, Metroid Prime, DK Jungle Beat, Star Fox Assault, Zelda Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, Paper Mario Thousand-Year Door, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Star Fox Adventures and Mario Sunshine, all of the top of my head.

Oh, wait, those are all 3D Nintendo games that weren't on the Nintendo 64 so they all suck.

The game had a list of problems a million miles long but boy was it fun. It's a shame that copies go for an outrageous price these days (even for the GC port).
It's expensive now? I remember buying the GC port for like $10 around a year ago at Gamestop.

Only the Dreamcast one is really pricy, I see quite a few for the gamecube on eBay for less than $30, some even around $15.

I prefer the original Toy Story, even if it is a bit "too short" at 60-120 minutes of gameplay, but that one was fun too.

Do you mean the SNES/Sega Genesis sidescroller? Where you control Woody? That's the one I remember. It was...meh. It was decent.
Yep, that's the one [or three I should say, since it came out on the SNES, Genesis, and PC, ok bad joke]. The later stages were pretty unforgiving for what is supposed to be a kids game, but the fact that each stage had a different playstyle made it pretty fun.

The first generation .hack games are amazing. I'm just playing through the last installment, .hack//Quarantine, right now.
