What Game Should I Get?

I need a question answered...what game should I get!?

Playing Pokemon, Dragon Age, an inFamous at the moment. inFamous is almost done, so I'm going to start the latest Star Ocean. RPG central, huh?

I'm trying to find a good DS/PS3 game. At the moment I've got:

-Pre-ordering inFamous2
-Spiderman Shattered Dimensions
-LoZ portable games
For PS3, Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. Perfect games, no third person shooters can even compare. Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction/A Crack In Time or Resistance 1/2 are also good backups. If you are fine with multiplatform games then you need to go with Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3/New Vegas, or Bioshock 1/2. For the DS I'm not too sure, though I would have to recommend Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story if you don't already own it, or when in doubt, buy a remake.

Don't get Spiderman: SD. I rented it, and beat it rather quickly. The game is far too easy and way too repetitive. Story is not as great minus getting to play with the different Spidermans. You will never have to upgrade your stats or moves...all I did was mash the basic combo throughout the whole game. It's just not worth your money.

I agree with the others. Batman: Arkham, Uncharted series, Valkyria Chronicles if you're looking for an RPG.

Well guys, I dug up my Star Ocean copy and my Metroid Prime Trilogy copy and realized I really didn't want a game.

I did realize however the 3DS came out today, and me and my gf will both eventually need one. Buying two at once would be terrible financially, so I'm trying to get one now. (And get the other one when Zelda comes out, with hopefully a LE 3DS)

It works out because my GF wants Aqua blue anyways. Hard to find one, though.

The Professory Layton series is welcome if you're into puzzles. I'm guessing you've already played all the PW games.

If your a KH fan, check out recoded. Okamiden is the sequel to Okami. Ghost Trick is really fun as well.

Hey guys, I'm in the need for a new DS game. I'm not particularly picky, so throw any suggestions at me that you can think of.
Here are some great games, though you probably have most of them:
Pokemon Black/White
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum
Pokemon Soulsilver/Heartgold
Zelda Spirit Tracks
Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story
Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've played all of those except Spirit Tracks and GTA. I've tried GTA, and it's a good game, but it's just not for me. As for Spirit Tracks, I've heard that it's more or less Phantom Hourglass with land, so I can't justify shelling out forty-ish bucks for it. :p

I have Hotel Dusk already, and some of those older ones might be hard to track down. I think my brother has Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, so I could borrow that from him.

How about Radiant Historia? I've heard plenty of good things from that game.
I've heard that too. Perhaps I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy. Thanks!

Import Last Window: The Secret of Cape West (Hotel Dusk: Room 215 sequel) from Europe. Totally worth it.

It's a pretty good game, but not as good as Phantom Hourglass. If it goes down to 20-30$ used then it is a pretty good buy.

Anywho, I am a bit conflicted, I have enough to buy a new 360-PS3 game, but I wanna save up for Portal 2. I am tempted to buy on of several other games. Can any of you wonderful people voice your opinions?
Portal 2 is my #1 choice, but there are a couple others I'm interested in, such as:
Bulletstorm
DeadSpace 2
Sly Cooper Collection
LittleBigPlanet 2

And I'm going to get the uber 1337 PS3 version of Portal 2 if I get it, which I'm 95% sure on Portal 2. If anyone thinks I should get any of the others, tell me and I might possibly change my mind.

I kind of want to get Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 on PS3, since it's cheap, I love Marvel, and I liked the first game. Problem is, I don't know anyone that plays it. Should I, or should I not?

See if you can find any good deals on Craig's List or Ebay for those games. They are relatively new, but you can save anywhere from 20-30 bucks.

Lyth, did you ever play Henry Hatsworth? Or N+ or Ninjatown? Or Big Bang Mini? All were very fun, and a little less common.

Haha, I have all of those! They're all really good. Thanks for the suggestions though.

It's amazing, but the difficulty really starts to go up in the latter half of the game.

Yeah I only got about halfway through Hatsworth before I moved on. It got hard and I got tempted to play something else. I've picked it back up a few times but never really get any farther.

I'm looking for a light-hearted, competitive, preferably technical game with lots of depth as a replacement for Smash (getting kinda bored of it at the moment).

Any suggestions?
I feel sort of bad suggesting a smash replacement, but Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 2 for the PS2 is a really fun fighting game. If you're into the series then that's an added bonus, but I haven't cared about the series in years and I still enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure it's still only been released in Japan, so you'll need a way of playing imports. I think that there's a competitive scene in the New York area, albeit a small one.

Story is much better than any CoD game from what I hear, but apparently, the stealth power up + sniper rifle in multiplayer is a bit broken.

Consoles you can play on? And what do you mean by light hearted?
PS2, PSP, Wii, Gamecube, N64, PC and DS.

I also have emulators for all of the classic consoles + MAME.

By light-heared, I mean that I don't want some serious COD style game. Just looking for something that I can have a laugh at, happy colours, etc...

I'll give it a shot.

And it's only a temporary replacement, don't worry ;)

Lyth, how about these:

Neves
Dragon Quest 4 (or 5 or 9)
Contra 4

Those are some of my favorites.

I started playing Picross 3d today. I love the original. This one seems fun too. I'm not sure how well my brain will do in 3 dimensions like this, but we'll see.

(not a 3ds title, btw)

I am looking for a fresh new fighting game experience. The only fighting game series I have played is the Super Smash Bros Series (I know duh), Naruto Ultimate Ninja (Not all of them just some of them), and the soul caliber series (Including Soul Edge, but not Soul Caliber 4). I wish for something new something different.

Here are the systems I can play on: PS1 (Three them, not all of them working though, also one emulator.), PS2, N64 (One real one and one emulator one), SNES (Emulator and Virtual Counsel), NES (Emulator and Virtual Counsel), Dream Cast (Modified), NGC (Two of them), Wii (Homebrew channel), Computer (Xp OS, not in the best of shapes.)

So any fighting game for those systems I can use, I wish a different breath of fresh air unique experience with the recommended fighting game. Please and thank you in advance.

^ To the guy who wanted a fun game, get Sonic Colors :D

^ To DragoonFighter, I hear MvC2 is fun. Though I can't seem to learn fighters outside of Melee. (See:Blog)

Grim, I would suggest Warsow but I'm not sure if it goes under your definition of light hearted. It is a open source FPS that is highly competitive. It is set in a cyber punk reality where Gladiators fight pigs. It has a high tech skill barrier, and a small but competitive fan base.

Dragoon Fighter, Guilty Gear is a fast paced, high tech skill fighting game for Wii/PS2/PC. I would highly recommend it if your in to that style of fighting games.

Alright guys, I'm in need of some dire help.

What I'm playing:

Dragon Age/Ps3
Rayman/3ds
Pokemon White/DS
Metroid Prime Trilogy/Wii

Now, I'm looking for a -good- JRPG. Yes I know that's rare. I want to find one on the PS3, but I cannot seem to find one. If I cannot find one on the PS3, I'd accept VC(on PS3/Wii), PS3/WII/DS games.

Some things I'm considering:

PS3:

-White Knight Chronicles
-Final Fantasy IX(Non-Excal Perfect Run)
-Moon Diver(More action based, lol... Idk)
-Eternal Sonata(EXTREMELY SKEPTICAL on this one)

Wii:

-Final Fan...nevermind they never add those.
-Open for suggestions besides Crystal Bearers

DS:

-TWEWY
-Dragon Quest IX
-Any good Dragon Quest

Things I'm considering but need to be pushed over the fence for:

-Star Ocean 4(PS3):

What scares me is the content. There is just too many ridiculous things you need to do, and I'm afraid I'ma get bored with it halfway in like I do with every Star Ocean I've played.

-Final Fantasy VII(PS3)

Beaten it 4503453 times, but meh. Getting desperate.

-Breath of Fire II(Wii)

Same as FFVII.

Tales of Symphonia II(Wii)

-Again, it sounds like a bad idea.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated. I love JRPGs but you have to look carefully to find the good ones :3. All I know is I'm playing two Action games, and a WRPG/Pokemon(which is hardly jrpg to me), so I'm really wanting a jrpg. If all else fails I may just do Assassin's Creed or God of War.

TWEWY is excellent, and I've heard good things about DQIX.

You should actually consider getting Eternal Sonata. I haven't played through the entire game yet (life gets in the way sometimes) but it is so good.
