I'm pretty sure top players would have no problem with autographing your controllers for donations. Sounds like a solid idea.

Awesome, we'll see when the next stream is squared away!I'm waiting for another major stream. I'll throw $20 when it happens because I like bulk donations.
I'll also advertise the stream/donation link on my steam group with 8500+ members at the beginning of said stream.
I plan on donating 25$ towards the Benteezy lessons, 20$ to enter the raffle for armada's controller, and I'll throw in another 20 for the hell of it if I get my paycheck by Monday. We still in thereAwesome, we'll see when the next stream is squared away!
oh my god i want to donate so bad nowIf we reach 25k
me PP and Mango will shave our beards
(you don't have a choice kevin)
Yeah Im up for it!I was actually suggesting Armada donate one of his actual controllers if he was willing since that means a bit more. It's really up to the players and what they decide though.
Easily the greatest idea so far.Armada, if we hit 25K, will the Swedish smashers record a metal song?
NoYeah Im up for it!
How to send the controller is something we can discuss. And yeah it is the Apex 2013 controller I can give (I don't have any of my other old controllers left basically). A friend (not on purpose) took my controller at Beast 2. I can ask him if he has that one left cause then we have the Gensis 2 controller too =)
I don't know what the price would/should be but Im for donating those.
If you make or promise to make a Rapex3 video I will donate 20 bucks. So yeah we need to get into evo fellas.
SO im pretty much down to do anything to get you guys to donate
gonna try and get the other top players in on it 2
cept armada cause hes lame
(LMAOAOA )
suggestions
nothing TOO crazy
unless ur down to throw down some c@$h
And the Swedish smashers are up for doing it!Easily the greatest idea so far.
A donation incentive for Mango to create another hype combo video? Why the **** not?!If you make or promise to make a Rapex3 video I will donate 20 bucks.
I would be in tearsArmada, if we hit 25K, will the Swedish smashers record a metal song?
Funny thing is I can't tell which one is less likely to happenIf you make or promise to make a Rapex3 video I will donate 20 bucks.
If Armada says **** retirement I will also donate 20 bucks.
One of those things is probably much more realistic than the other haha
They also had a lot of amazing speedruns to keep people viewing. Merely having people on a Skype chat talking about tons of awesome things doesn't necessarily keep people viewing to donate (except for of course, us). So it's kind of hard to say just having the raffles was the key to AGDQ's success (it was part of it but not the whole).I think that having a variety of high/top level players offer lessons / coaching could be a great incentive, in addition to raffling off signed items. Pretty sure the SDA AGDQ marathon raised well over 100k using raffles (and their 24/7 stream of course).
This. They have definitely shown how to make players keep on giving and get something out of it besides the donation benefits themselves. Though they raised well over 100k. Their past event raised close to 450kI think that having a variety of high/top level players offer lessons / coaching could be a great incentive, in addition to raffling off signed items. Of those 4, I think only AJP has any sense of being musical. He could totally rock a keytar.I would be in tears
Armada guitarist/backing vocals
MikeHagger Drummer
Leffen Vocals
Ajp Anton bass??
on it.Anyone think we could put together a long stream of high level players critiquing matches? I think we have enough high level players from enough timezones to get something continuous going over the course of several days.
This is really a great idea! $5 could buy a critique of one match or something like that, $10 for a whole set. If something like this could get up and running I'm sure plenty of people would wanna chip in and they'd get some good tips in return.Anyone think we could put together a long stream of high level players critiquing matches? I want in on this shiz. I could build a customized controller for the pros to sign, to be given to the highest bidder.25k is just a goal that's within reach right now. If we put a goal that's too high, we could have less donators.
What I was thinking is, the person who donates the greatest amount will receive the controller. It's not too hard to forward the payment confirmation to see if you've donated the most money.
if we win, I demand that Mango and Hbox team for a tournament, but they must do mario/ness
