if anyone cares to go over what i felt were mistakes...

1) putting in axe to take 1 stock off of hax

Low tiers can work okay in crews, but you really need to work their matchups so they can get as much out of their chosen matchup as possible (I'd say come in vs. at least 3 stock on their opponent); even if axe had taken hax's stock without losing one of his own, he would still be super-vulnerable to a sheik counterpick and consequently lose the opportunity to do some real damage

2) putting in lunin vs. tope

from what i have heard all around, sheik is far from lunin's best matchup, whereas falcon IS one of his best; I think he would have been best suited to put in vs. scar, or even vs. hax instead of tope

3) using pink shinobi vs. scar

having peach/jiggs + mute city/brinstar is such a powerful counterpick that I feel it was wasted there; i think that with the stage on his side, paul could easily have completely taken out jman or cactuar, which would have been much more valuable to the team than taking out scar



it was a great crew battle though! good enough to make almost everyone not care that they never played out the "real" finals for crews
