[WA] Perth Smash Thread

Ninjadead to be honest I wouldn't worry about it, the ruleset for the tournament is a joke, the prizes are a joke from what I remember (well, when me samuel and richard went once and the prize was a giant yoshi plushie) and the format of the tournament is a joke as well since it is single elimination (which is utter bull****). In my opinion it is a waste of time to enter the tournament unless you have nothing better to do at waicon. If you really do want to enter then I wish you luck in convincing the organiser to allow wii remotes, and if you can't convince him/her then just use the wii remote anyway, who gives half a **** about what they say. Worst thing that can happen is you get disqualified from the tournament which doesn't really matter because there isn't a fantastic prize or anything.

Basically the waicon "tournament" does not deserve to be called a tournament whatsoever. I'm going to call it the "Waicon Brawl Event" from now on.

Honestly the first Waicon I went to we were told we weren't allowed to use custom control setups or names for brawl during the tournament. Takes 5 seconds to put in a name you can then use for the whole tournament....

Then the fat ugly dog had the audacity to come up to me after the tournament when I was playing friendlies with Andy and Corey and tell me I shouldn't be playing "with a name on!".

Basically looked him straight in the eye and told him to go **** himself.

Didn't grief us much after that, but it still didn't bring us any closer to having the thing run to a standard beyond simian comprehension.

although this does explain why the east has a beautifully intergrated scene composed of multiple capital cities, while perth, is well, perth.

Luke we need you buddy. I realise the ACT is even more awesome then NSW, but it's all close enough :p

P.S. and Attila, it's just physically impossible for there to be too many awesome people like myself in one city. I even have to take trips outside the country sometimes to let Perth cool down after too much exposure to awesome. I've also had to sacrifice maining Lucas for this very reason - what a sad, sad day that was...

Well, not so much no more Lucas, but a lot less Lucas. He's still my no. 1 pick in doubles, and still my best character, but against most of the top tier there is just nothing I can do when they know the MU.

I'm working pretty heavily for the next couple weeks so the smashmeet might have to wait for a while, I know some of you still go to school (trav and alistair?) so if it falls after the holidays i'll make it a weekend.. I have to pay for a computer I just ordered =)/=( but it'll be well worth it so =D

You should just drop out, colour your hair, get a lip or eyebrow piercing, and smoke cigarettes whilst on your lunchbreak outside a centro shopping centre.
