update! narrowed things down to jan 1 or 2. given peak season, a holiday house is probably out of the question now. we can just make this a day trip to the peninsula or lorne methinks. will coordinate more productively in a week or two.

I need a volunteer to call up some of the larger camping zones in rosebud, rye, blairgowrie etc. to reserve a couple of tent lots for jan 2. then we're set!

i don't get back to australia until dec 25 and i'm pretty much on the move until dec 30, so if someone could do the legwork and organize the campsites for me i'll handle the rest i.e. logistics.
