I've actually graduated from DeVry. When i was there, we had some smash players, but they don't play competitively and play other games. Capital University is more into the shooting game scene. blah blah blah blah blah OSU plays melee blah blah blah.
Pretty much, the people that have played smash in the past and present either:
1) Don't play it anymore
2) Played it, but not interested in playing competively
3) Play other games
There may be 4 people in an entire college that plays Brawl, but it doesn't mean that they are any good or that they want to play competively. All it does is help you go through the motions, which you can do anytime when you're at home.
Currently, Columbus is regrowing the brawl scene where we're going to host more smashfests and tournaments. We have been putting up facebook pages and spreading the word. We do have like 5 people that play, but they rarely making out to the wednesday smashfests X_X
So much editing to all of my posts. My job ****s up my grammar
