Hax is a good choice for crews, much better than I would be. Europe is super strong vs Marth/Sheik, but they are super weak against Falcon and characters they don't play often. You need to stay away from Marths and Sheiks.

Also, why are you so hesitant to use your sheik and marth? Europe is "good" against them, but if you come in against people that aren't from Europe (since it's the World, not just Europe), then you can **** them and get "free" stocks.

regardless of how good Europe is against your two "main" mains right now, you have an outstanding record in crews (except maybe that one time vs IC's). Some go so far as to claim that you are the best teams and crews player in the world.

everyone knows that every continent other than the US struggle vs CF and puff. thats a fact. axe will send them for a loop too. And like who else plays against an IC like wobbles. they are the ones I would expect to turn the tide in crews if the world and can magically manage to slow down mango or m2k

from a fan's point of view (someone who is going to be watchin stream/recorded vids from this tournament), it would be more hype to watch top players vs top players. regardless of continent. Example: PP vs Armada would be more exciting to watch than Mango vs zghetto (no offense to you). Close matches where the outcome isnt guaranteed is what creates hype. if it was going to be 3vs3 in USA vs World, then it might be more hype cause anything can happen. but extending it to 8vs8 is not going to create the hype that the fans are looking for. the 8th best in the USA roster (lets just say its axe for arguments sake) is at the level of the worlds first or second best player. (yes, i do believe from 1-8 spot of the usa roster has a chance of beating armada in a crew battle. anything can happen and usa is just that stacked).

with that stated, like i said earlier, spectators like to watch top players vs top players. id much rather watch mango defend the WC vs PP on the EC, and KK defend canada vs amsah on the worlds team. agreeing with what hbox said earlier, it'd be more epic and hype to have regional crews.

now i know alex already said there will not be time for that... ON THE STREAM. so why not go ahead and have the "exhibition" on stream, but what is stopping someone from bringing their own setup/recording and going to a free tv on saturday and doing regional crews? if you top players attending apex want to have regionals that bad, then do something about it. as a fan of melee, watchin regional crews a week after apex is over is still like finding gold. whether its live or not, just getting to see it is what is important (to the viewers).

adressing canada in the crew battle. just because canada is buddy buddy with the USA, doesnt mean they dont deserve to be able to represent "the world". if america says no for canada to join their crew and dont allow canada to be in the world crew, then wtf is canada? (and dont say a block of ice)

last paragraph, m2k u r too good of a player to not be in a crew battle representing your nation. and your argument for not wanting to be in it is kinda bogus. armada has calle W practise, its like telling PP not to play vs armada for that reason. just because some players on the worlds roster are good vs shiek/marth, doesnt mean they will beat you.

I wonder what PP's strategy will be for whom to play first and whom to "save". I would lead with M2K, because he will take at least 3-4 stocks, but there's always the outside chance that he's still one of the best crew players in the country and beast the world out of 8 or 10. M2K needs to play not because his characters are a good match against the other team. M2K needs to play because he's M2K. Come on, bro, GIVE US a reason to cheer for you.
