Regarding Apex 2010:

I know that, me/foy/minh/rob/whoever else wants to come are trying to convince steffon to take us down their in his van.

Once we get down their, Maine/Mass guys have epxressed interest in getting a hotel room right next to ours and crazy **** will happen.

I'm not gonna lie, you placing yourself, Mana, and Tsai above him is asinine. I'm not trying to take away from you, and Mana. Hell, I can't take away from you, or try to put down you, Tsai and Mana's skill, I know for a fact that I'm nowhere near good enough. But I honestly don't think that Neil should be put as 5th, that's too drastic a drop, is all I'm saying.

dont let them deceive you. getting drunk is not fun, and i would highly advise against it. id never take a chance to lose all of your school money. People try to act like its just a joke and being goofy and w/e, but if the wrong person shows up for whatever reason, ish will get real, real quick. also, keep in mind that pretty much whenever alcohol is involved with these guys, weed is too.
Straight edge is the way to go. Ive never seen someone regret NOT drinking or getting high the day after...

First off, I know entirely what I'm talking about when it comes to melee. That's not even elitism. Melee is a large portion of my life, and part of my time spent on it is making sure I don't sound stupid when I make claims about the game. I may not be the smartest, or most knowledgeable person in our community, but I am one of the smartest and most knowledgeable. Given that Jesse asks me a fair bit about the mechanics of certain things, I think it's fair to say I know my ****. A **** ton more than you do.

About the list, I haven't really been home to make a list with Mana. Sue me.

@ getting drunk. Advising against someone experimenting with something in a safe environment with people you trust is ********. Because you may have had a bad experience with something, does not mean it will be the same for everyone. I respect everyone's decision regardless of what they pick, but blindly saying "no it will be bad" is morally irresponsible. And I think you are the only person in this community that takes things too personally. I don't think anyone around here would get upset at someone being drunk and throw down. That just seems ridiculous.

If you guys are driving to Syracuse, I'd rather get a ride than pay $20-$25 for bus 1way.

I'mma bring this back up once more in case anyone catches it tomorrow. Anyone know people at University of Rochester who smash much, (or does anyone pass there?) I've interest in two people coming to the friday smash club, and maybe the tournament in two weeks, but they've no car, and the buses to get between here and there are pretty **** lousy all but saturday, from what I grasp.

If there is significant interest, I could either go get them or find somebody to go get them.

I actually drive from the entirely opposite direction. I would actually have to drive the 10-15 min to RIT, and pretty much pass the school, and than drive another 10 min or so to get to UR, and than take them to RIT. and thats only one way, but I would be willing to do it to find more cool smashers.

I'm ordering a tri-wing Dr G and I can take out whatever, but I won't be around the scene much. I think somebody else has a triwing but I'm not sure. I'll carry it with me to whatever I go to but no promises.

I'll take out the rumble too, unless you like it.
