Fair is disjointed
If you want to recover, side b first, THEN jump unless a regular up b can do it
Practice Alolan Whip timing
Darkest Lariat is like frame 5 and can do 20% if you hit them on start up, if you want the most damage possible for a quick read that's a valid option imo
Down Smash can dodge grabs, but it can dodge get up attacks too, so if someone's on the ledge and you use down smash, you might be able to catch them with it
You have some pretty good throws, learn when to use them

As for me, I still don't know who I'm gonna play competitively, and my first biweekly tournament is in a week and a half.

Speaking of Smash, I LOVE Shulk's Art switching I-frames

I styled on a 160% Ganon throwing out Warlock Punch at ledge with me at 100% in disadvantage by activating Smash to dodge his punch, then rolling behind him to dodge an F-Tilt, and then I F-Tilted him into obliteration while throwing out down taunt.

I love Shulk in this game so much I should play him more
