Whether the direct happens or not, obviously i’m just gonna wait and see, enjoy smash and other games, and not stress over this, no point in it really. Yes i wanna play as joker too, but def not to the point it’s driving me to insanity

Yeah there is, but the thing is all I can think when I look at my mains list is “Joker’s missing from this” cause we KNOW HE’S COMING
I think the reason why I didn’t care as much about the wait for Mewtwo as this is cause I wasn’t too torn up nor hyped over Mewtwo back then as everyone else was. I guess now I know how those guys felt.

honestly, with the similarities to mewtwo i think it's just a symptom of development coming to a close then slowly winding back up again - sakurai mentioned he was taking a fairly lengthy (by his standards, probably 2 days long) christmas break, so i can assume everyone else in the dev team was doing the same.

development will likely speed back up to a regular release cycle by 3.0.0, though it'll remain to be seen if they pull another cloud and take a random 4 month gap between releases

I just want things to go back to normal. If things were fine I probably wouldn't give to ****s about Nintendo. But normal has gone from everythings fine to everything's not, so I, like a lot of people, have developed hair trigger emotions.

I'm not even that fussed about Joker (have yet to purchase the Fighter Pass or any individual fighter DLC), I just wanna see what Stage Builder's like and hope the buffs and nerfs are merciful on my mains

Also am kind of hoping to move on to the next, post- Joker and Erdrick phase of speculation: a real leap into the unknown as all we have on the last three is 'a Microsoft rep could logically be coming'.

Seems petty. Yes, people like you and me face a lot of hardship, and it's easy to get swept up in all the emotions. But if you never learn to rise above it, and only see all the negatives about the world, you're bound to go down a path... Well, like yours, where you hate an entire gender just for a few bad experiences.

Learn to get better about this sort of thing. Stop seeing everything as just "people are being rude to me, so I need to be even ruder back".
