It's what I fear, really. People say FFVII is the greatest RPG of all time, yet I consider it just another pretty great RPG, though FFIX still holds the place for best FF in lots of ways.

It's Pokemon, the biggest media franchise in the world. This movie is very likely gonna be successful, no matter what (unless it turns out to be a heaping pile of trash). A sequel has a pretty high possibility of happening, if you ask me

Blrgh, sorry threw up in my mouth a little (Kidding of course, I just dislike both Batman, Superman, and the Green Lantern). They have the best fights (and are all overpowered which I like, but the way they win is always boring and they're all too focused on the moral high ground. I was rooting for the Elite vs Superman, and to an extent, agreed with them.)

Alright, I would like to counter with something:

DLC can't be made without time and resources. Red Hood was released less than one month after the game came out. Sub Zero and Starfire were also released less than three months after the game came out. So where do you think that time and those resources came from?

We've championed Sakurai's commitment to only working on DLC once the base game is actually finished. But that comes at a price: The DLC isn't ready until later. Further, the DLC release dates can't be known until the DLC itself is starting to finalize; lots of things can go wrong or get delayed between the start of production and the finish. The reason Netherrealm can so consistently put these characters out is because they diverge resources toward the DLC before the main game is even finished. Perhaps I'm assuming too much here, and I apologize, but you seem like the type who would dislike a company doing that.

They said that we'll be getting exactly five characters by February 2020. It is currently April 2019. Relax. Frankly, I'm done with this conversation because I just can't wrap my head around what you're upset about this time. A "countdown clock"? You're not going to remember any countdown clock once the content is out and you'll inevitably move onto the next thing to hype yourself up over. Right now you're just picking reasons to legitimize being upset about Nintendo not publishing a 20min ad on your schedule.

You're right. You're assuming too much. I've been the unsung champion of planning your DLC ahead of time. DLC takes at most 4 months to make. In the last 3-4 months before launch all you're doing is play testing. debugging, and balancing. When all you are doing is balancing and play testing, the characters for base you can afford to divert a few people to get a head start on DLC

But whatever. You want the conversation to be over than fine. If you're fine with inconsistent release dates and nothing but droughts with nothing to speculate on or get excited about than fine.
