It's taking me a while to get used to Piranha Plant.

Neutral B is challenging to land for me.

And down B just feels useless. Weren't you able to angle that **** in the gameplay reveal for him? Does it only go up now?

The fact you can charge it is nuts. I wonder if it has a timer? Probably does.
Spike ball doesn't seem too useful. Seems to lag and you must always choose a direction. Being two ways is good, but I think edgeguarding with a perfectly placed ball is the only viable tool.

Down Special is nuts. You can use it up close or so far away. People are going to hate this move. Being able to angle it as it charges is nutty.

Up Special has good distance and the leaves hit. Probably will be easy to gimp from above but sideways will be a difficult task.

Dtilt is also good. Has good distance.

It does set a worrying trend, though, since it shows that the team's being fairly reactionary with what gets nerfed.

K. Rool is nowhere near good enough to get nerfs to that extent.

So all the -cide moves have the same rules? I'm good with that. I think that's honestly fair. Chrom shouldn't have an advantage like that over Ganondorf and Bowser. They're all command throws. IMO, I think they should work the same in who dies first.

We'll it's not really a throw per say...

But yeah, it's a fair nerf to Chrom. He's gonna go down in all the tier list because of this though.

Also, let's take a moment to appreciate Spirits Board is now multiplayer-compatible. They're willing to make changes to things other than characters. We can actually get some modes fixed.

I think Incineroar has been buffed across several moves.

Up Smash Attack - Extended launch distance.
Up Air Attack - Shortened the amount of time you cannot grab edges after using the move.
Down Air Attack - Shortened the landing time after using the move.
Up Throw - Extended launch distance.
Up Special - Extended vertical and horizontal distance.

So... there you go.

Judging from the patch notes Zard fair still doesn't auto cancel from a short hop. At this point I feel like that wasn't an actual oversite but rather a deliberate nerf from 4.

I got destroyed as K. Rool when using him online so the nerfs disappoint me.

Especially since the nerfed moves in question weren't the overpowered ones in the successful K. Rool montage I watched.

Practicing , it seems that side special is incredible for ledge trapping, or I guess forcing ledge options. If you unleash it at the point where they get up, they have really no option of not getting poisoned it seems unless they do nothing or find some other way around it.

It seems to be fights against all of Ultimate's Newcomers.
