Y'all shouldn't lose hope JUST yet in D1's tweet he specifically stated "I would tune in, Especially after that post Splatoon Tourney Announcement!" so unless that's already past there's still hope even if it's only a little bit.

Be patient cause we never know what's going on inside Nintendo's head. Maybe they'll announce a Smash Direct afterwards, Maybe not.
