Is someone legit trying to say DKC has been neglected? Over Metroid?

As a Mother fan, I don't wanna hear nothin' about series neglect. I imagine F-Zero fans would also have a few words to say on the subject.

It really is. It reminds me of when I was a moderator at Capcom-Unity, Capcom's official forums, and Monster Hunter fans were angry because they spent $300+ on PlayStation Vitas for the next Monster Hunter game, which hadn't been announced yet, mind you, only for it to be announced that the series was moving to Nintendo 3DS..so many complaint threads and pointless whining about Capcom 'making them' waste their money when it was their fault for making assumptions about MH continuing on PS Vita.

I know the feeling..I'd at least like F-Zero GX HD with Online or for Nintendo to work with Sega again to make another F-Zero in a similar fashion.

I wouldn't say Mother is neglected as the franchise is outright finished with the creator having no intentions of ever making a new game. For a franchise in that state, a worldwide release of Earthbound, Beginnings being officially released and a ****ton of love in every Smash game is a lot better than it could have been

It's too early to say if Retro wasn't working on DKC. If they picked up MP4, then whatever they've been working on for the past few years is likely already done. Just wait for an announcement.

Obviously the most neglected Smash franchise is Smash itself.

I mean come on, the last game was almost 5 years ago and it hasn't even gotten a fighter yet, smh.

the most neglected series is the R.O.B. series. only got two games, smh

Imagine being so paranoid about the next Donkey Kong game you go out of your way to blame another game being made Retro on the basis of "neglecting" said series.

As a Pokemaniac, lemme tell you, constant releases is both a blessing and a curse. Oh boy the same game again but with the word "Ultra" in front of it, how exciting! Or how about Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, which were clearly rushed out to pad things out while we wait for Pokemon 2019? Yeah there's always something to play but there's also a lot of disappointment. Now the entire fanbase is acting super cynical because those lost two pairs of games have left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

It's actually kind of nice when a series only has one or two major releases a console generation. When as Smash or 3D Zelda game releases, it's a huge, special deal. I wouldn't mind DKC being the same way. One or two every console generation, but with a ton of effort and polish put into them.

Are Miis and therefore didn't originate from Smash. They only use the logo because there's no specific series they fall into and can be literally anyone you want them to be.

Also it was a joke.

Whew okay, so I was expecting a 6 and I'm getting a 12.

The model is supposed to go with the Kalypso model I working on along with this one.

This was not meant for NSFW intentions nor was this supposed to be smut.

I mean like I thought this wasn't too out of the box as well Twintelle exists.

Though sensibilities are spectrum I guess.

Mii Fighters, not all Miis in general, technically debuted in Smash.

Ultimate also lists a Mii series for spirits.

Also, if I thought it wasn't a joke, I wouldn't have made a two word response.

I just care about the gameplay. Lots of games have good lore and horror stories but still aren't essentially a 3D Metroidvania with limited resources.

It'd be dope though if someone made that.

DKC has had to wait 5 years. Prime has waited 12 years, with development on 4 restarting likely meaning at least another 3 or so more on top of that. F-Zero has had even longer, and is most likely never getting another game ever. Wario Land is probably dead too.

DKC has had a bit of a wait, but I wouldn't call it "neglected". It just got a port of TF a year ago and got the Mario + Rabbids DLC. Metroid got a spin-off and a remake on 3DS. Neither are neglected, but DK is definitely better off right now.
