And now were in 2019. How's the year so far for you guys?

I'd say its been so far better for me. Plenty of movies I much look forward too that seems more exciting than last year.

Forgot to mention too 2018 was great for one of the most anticipated games I looked forward too.

God of War.

It did not disappoint.

As well as getting back into anime after taking a break starting with My Hero Academia and now currently watching Yu Yu Hakusho. Both of which became my favorite animes alongside InuYasha and Black Lagoon.

Kingdom Hearts III and Resident Evil 2. That's all I got.
At least Devil May Cry V comes out in 2 days to save us from a wave of otherwise mediocre games.

2018, was an awful year for me.
During that year, nothing literally went right, making myself trapped into a huge and intense depression.
I messed up on too many things, I was dissapointing many people around me, I got into too many problems online... I just felt worthless and useless as hell.

Doesn’t help that I ended the year with one of my friends losing her mother due to a cancer... And all of my friends and I got a hard time dealing with it.


That being said, there were some few highlights: Into The Spider-Verse released and all of us loved it, Spider-Man PS4 was cool and so was Smash Ultimate... And Marvel blessed me with this reveal I didn’t see coming:

But even with all of that... I despised 2018 to death, and refuse to say it was a good year in any form.
2018 can just **** off.

And that's all in addition to literally every single newcomer coming back to partake in this ultimate showdown of gaming icons. Even Snake. Even friggin' Young Link and Pichu.

Everyone's allowed to have their own criticisms of this game, that's all fair, but I don't care what anyone else says about it's roster; this game damn well EARNED it's title as "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate."

I don't think we can even possibly thank Sakurai and everyone else who worked so hard to give us this game quite enough.

I joined Smashboards which was incredible and I also met y'all which is cool but then the Speculation died and everything outside of the former two things aren't going so well.

I'll honestly never forget the fact that Stan Lee died on my birthday, and now I can't forget it. It made last year bittersweet for me.

2019 looks a lot better for the Switch than 2018 (no offense Ultimate)
- Mario Maker 2
- Animal Crossing
- Luigi's Mansion 3
- Pokemon Sword & Shield (which will probably be full of issues, but hey, at least they aren't Let's Go)
- Link's Awakening
- Other stuff like Yoshi and Fire Emblem which I don't personally care about but I know a lot of people here do

How do people even come up with the Earth being 4.5 billion years? Carbon dating?

2019: Major improvement from last year. My family drama situation improved, and my depression and anxiety have been more manageable. Also got my license this year, and will graduate from high school.

Excited for Sword and Shield, Mario Maker 2 and more coming in 2019.

Now, how is 2019 going for me? Well, not as bad as 2018 at the moment:

>I will never forget January of 2019, because everything just went right back then (Marvel made Fantastic Four Week and was dope as hell, I helped a huge number of people IRL and online, I was happy through all of it, I went out with my friends a lot and more). I just won’t ever forget that month, since I loved it.

>February sucked to the point that I had to leave Smashboards for a while. It was awful for my family and I, and I almost got into the depression again (thankfully, January went that great that I was thankfully keeping hope about things turning better).

>March is going cool at the moment, and I hope it keeps being so all the way through.

70th anniversary of China's change. Many nation's anniversaries of independence as well. Like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
30th anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling down.
100th anniversary of the Versailles Treaty being signed.
