Ok so real talk, the P5 anime is bad and is done by A-1 Studios who can NEVER ****ing make anything good if they're life depended on it yet they saw **** from P5 and said "Nah that is bad, we're removing it in the adaptation for the better" and fans rejoiced. ****ing terrifying, it's like a live action Disney movie with a soul

Tomorrow I’m planning to enter my first competitive Ultimate tournament. I was wondering what characters do you think I should play in the tourney? I’ve narrowed my choices down to 7 characters, but I only want to focus on 3:

Hmm... I wish you could be a little more specific with that problem you have with the gameplay. The biggest thing to take away from a Yoshi game is that it encourages you to TAKE YOUR TIME and not rush things. The fact that you focused a lot on the details of the level is not an accident. Even though you said you didn't click with it, I still recommend you get the game so you can set your own pace and figure out what went wrong.

Also NSMBUD kinda let me down after playing the Yoshi demo...

I think you just said it. There's nothing wrong with a game that wants you to take your time and enjoy it, but when it comes to platformers I just gotta go fast. Like I said, not the fault of the game, just a fault with me.

Honestly I don't click with yoshi games either. I don't think they're terrible, but some design choices just don't make sense to me. I feel as if a game with this design philosophy would work better as a metroidvania

About the Yoshi Demo?
I enjoyed it. The game has great coloring, in which I love colorful stuff.
Also I know what Noipoi is referring to. The controls in Yoshi's Crafted World are not meant to be fast and fresh like most games these days.
Personally, I am fine with the controls.

I'm actually pretty excited to try the Crafted World demo.

I don't have too much experience w/ the Yoshi series (I've only played/beaten Woolly World) but I enjoyed my time with what I have played.

I personally hold it and DK in a higher regard than Mario (in terms of platformers), so I'm interested to see what Crafted World has to offer.

I'll probably play the demo in 1-2 days.

The Crafted World demo is fun, but something felt off. The flutter jump felt like it ended prematurely, and I dislike the new automatic eating.

I still haven't finished Wooly World. I liked the game and I loved the visuals, and I even bought the Yarn Yoshi amiibo, but the game was so easy it kind of lost my interest. A bit strange since I never felt that with the original Yoshi's island.

I guess its comparable to Kirby where most games are easy, but some are easier then others and even those little differences in difficulty can make a difference.

I am 100% sure that Mario Maker was created because a lot of the 2D platformer ideas they had for Mario had been exhausted and they were just like "**** it, make them do it."
