Cuphead is a crazy love child between Contra and Ninja Gaiden mixed with a sadistic love of early 1900s animation with a dash of Mario overworld aesthetic and Bullet Hell Vehicle Sections and it all somehow works better than any of it logically should.
I am 100% sure that Mario Maker was created because a lot of the 2D platformer ideas they had for Mario had been exhausted and they were just like "**** it, make them do it."
Speaking of Mario Maker, kudos to the developers for paying attention to the wants of the fans.
Remember when everyone kept making shooter segments with the fire flower / clown car so the decided to make a special clown car that shoots fire? And they started the Mario Maker 2 trailer by showing off that you can create slopes. They knew.

I'm really liking the trend of games getting rid of lives. It's an outdated design choice meant to pad out older games/ steal money from you at an arcade.

Btw, a lot of indie games like to emulate Mega Man games, or Metroidvania, or Sonic games, and occasionally classic Mario. But I'm not aware of any that emulate Yoshi's Island. They want games to be MLG hard, but they don't appreciate the style of my boi's games...
On the one hand, it was a joy to look at. These levels are amazingly well made, everything looks like some kid made it for a school project. The attention to detail is wonderful. I loved just walking through the level and marveling at the game. The visuals get a 10/10 from me.
On the other hand, for whatever reason I just can't get into the gameplay of Yoshi games. I've tried, believe me i've tried, but something doesn't click with me.
This is really my problem, not the game's problem. I'm sure it'll be awesome, but I don't think i'll get it. I'll probably enjoy watching it more than playing it.
If you're into Yoshi games, or just looking for a fun time, you should get the full version in March. But if you're a moron like me who can't click with the gameplay, watch a stream. You'l have just as much fun noticing all the little details.
Noi, ya don't know what forces you're playin' with here...
As someone who adores Yoshi's Woolly World, I only have to this to say:
Yeah, that's fair. Yoshi games aren't for everyone, especially the modern ones. Happy you enjoyed the visuals, though! They look even more stunning than Woolly World's, which is impressive given how faithful that game was to its own style.
Sad fact.
The person who created Tetris wasn't paid a cent for his work. As he was in Communist Russia, the government took every last bit of his earnings.

Socialism never really worked in this world, but I would totally take socialism in the US over this terrible and failed capitalist system that we have in the US.

Tomorrow I’m planning to enter my first competitive Ultimate tournament. I was wondering what characters do you think I should play in the tourney? I’ve narrowed my choices down to 7 characters, but I only want to focus on 3:
That’s a really tough one. You play a mean Plant, and you’ve got a good Ridley. . I’m not really in a position to give you advice though. .
Good luck anyway! Just remember to wear a peg on your nose or something.

I'm not really into politics but you live in one of the most prosperous, welcoming places on the face of the earth. It may not seem so at times but the USA isn't as bad as the news and politics would like you to think. No, there are places on earth where people would rather see you dead than to see you happy. And that DEFINITELY includes Socialist/Communist States.

Implementing socialism in the US really isn't a good idea. I get that no one likes rich billionaire jerks who take advantage of people, but the capitalist system that we have is what inspires people to work hard, take chances, and strive for a better life. Socialism doesn't do that.
Socialism is like studying for an exam, getting an A, and then being told that you'll be receiving a C because your peers all failed. The motivation to do better than others kinda goes away because in the end, you won't be too far off from them anyways.

I mean keep in mind we have enough food in this world to feed everyone and there is still poverty and hunger.
China has some socialism in it and it's economy has boomed in this century.
I just want a friendly form of socialism where everyone gets money and joy.

I don't mind capitalism but goddamn if the rich be stupid sometimes
I'm not qualified to talk about capitalism vs socialism or w/e because I'm not knowledgeable enough on the subject but I support eating the rich /s but no really our wealthy are dumb as hell
