I just had a crazy thought:

Remember that Mario Maker 1 had Amiibo costumes of every character in Smash 4's base roster + Mewtwo and Lucas?

Well... What if every character in the Fighter Pass has a respective Amiibo costume in the code of Super Mario Maker 2?

Speaking of SMTV... I doubt it is dead. I think they are working really hard on a new game.

Big oof.

...Oh gosh, we're gonna be able to play Mario as Joker. What timeline is this?

Hollow Knight: Silksong looks amazing and it would've made the Direct far better.

Reminder that it was originally supposed to be DLC for Hollow Knight, not a Sequel.

I doubt they'd do that. Roy and Ryu couldn't get a costume, and they were released three months prior to Mario Maker.

The most likely scenario is an update that adds the costumes after the amiibo are released.

Not to make a situation more sad but the rover typically sang happy birthday to itself on August 5th which is the day it touched down. It didn’t sing this past August though.

It's a good theory, but I'm not sure they'd put in the codes for the DLC characters besides maybe Joker and DLC #2 (depending on release date).

Anything beyond that, we're not gonna see until they update the game.

Btw, for those who haven't seen it ('cause I posted it at midnight)

I just played through the Yoshi demo and I have to say...

If you haven't given it a shot, PLAY IT RIGHT NOW!!! Needless to say I love it, and considering this is the first stage and there's ALREADY some aspects of it that put it above many other Yoshi games is remarkable. I wasn't expecting several mission systems, even within the normal playthrough of the level. My only gripe with this demo is that there was only one level. Like, you couldn't squeeze in one or two extra in there Nintendo? Well, I guess it's a good thing as it means people who weren't all that interested before but wants to see what it's like doesn't have to invest a lot of time at least.

So yeah, it's great and you should play it if you haven't

Oh, that is really neat!
Typing about Mars...
Would anyone want to go to Mars? You would die in there, but you would be a legend.

Played The Crafted World demo.

On the one hand, it was a joy to look at. These levels are amazingly well made, everything looks like some kid made it for a school project. The attention to detail is wonderful. I loved just walking through the level and marveling at the game. The visuals get a 10/10 from me.

On the other hand, for whatever reason I just can't get into the gameplay of Yoshi games. I've tried, believe me i've tried, but something doesn't click with me.
This is really my problem, not the game's problem. I'm sure it'll be awesome, but I don't think i'll get it. I'll probably enjoy watching it more than playing it.

If you're into Yoshi games, or just looking for a fun time, you should get the full version in March. But if you're a moron like me who can't click with the gameplay, watch a stream. You'l have just as much fun noticing all the little details.

As far as FE House selection goes, I'm a Hufflepuff so I guess I probably have to go with the Golden Deers. I don't really have a say in the matter.

Hmm... I wish you could be a little more specific with that problem you have with the gameplay. The biggest thing to take away from a Yoshi game is that it encourages you to TAKE YOUR TIME and not rush things. The fact that you focused a lot on the details of the level is not an accident. Even though you said you didn't click with it, I still recommend you get the game so you can set your own pace and figure out what went wrong.

Also NSMBUD kinda let me down after playing the Yoshi demo...

I haven't played the demo but this was more or less my experience with Wooly World. It's cute, and I loved Yoshi's Island, but WW just felt sluggish and banal.

To be honest, that's my favorite part about the game. I hate it when there are a lot of things you can do in a level but game forces you to rush through it (yes, I know I like Sonic games, shut up).
