So I got to the semis of winners and got knocked out by this Spiderman/Doom/Strider team.

He had this reset that was only escapeable by

A) A double jump

or

B) An airdash

I just didn't know how to escape it until he told me after!

Anyways I got to losers finals where I met the same guy again, he got to winners finals and was knocked out.

He beat me again but it was close, 2 games a piece and his got a happy birthday on Akuma/Sentinel at the start of the last match.

He went on to win it anyway so I dont feel so bad.

But I do hate Spiderman with a passion now.

But remember this, Air Raid makes Wesker free on the ground.

There was KoF, BB and MK too.

I entered them all.

I'd never even touched KoF or MK and managed to beat people who legit play the games.

There is another marvel tourney next weekend.

I'm definitely gonna enter, I want my revenge on that Spiderman.

The worst part is the guy was really really handsome. :3

I learned some serious new Doom aerial exchange technology yesterday too.

Tag into him, don't touch any buttons till they begin falling, then footdive to the ground, hard kick them back up and combo some more in the corner.

Hard tags are kinda pretty darn useful in this game.

They were probably not legit then. Just saying.

Tag into him, don't touch any buttons till they begin falling, then footdive to the ground, hard kick them back up and combo some more in the corner.

That's the most awful choice you could do. HSD from your earlier part of the combo is ignored until your character touches the ground.

Spiderman resets can be escaped through DHC if you character has an air super. You have to see the reset coming.

EDIT: Spiderman does not need an OTG assist...

Tron/FW/Wolverine. The point is to build Frank up to lvl 4/5 with Tron and then to anchor him and get Wolverine on point.

nova/sent with frank is just dumb

nova/frank is just compliment each other way too well

nova has so many mix-ups with frank it's not even funny, and then sentinel is just there to help

and frank gets instant level 5 off of nova

I just won one of the silliest ranked matchs ever.

It came down to my Chris vs his Wesker. He already used his X-Factor so I pop mine and start chipping away at him with my Grenade Super. I get him down to the magic pixel and I use my last Grenade Super but he teleports through it and starts comboing me, I dont' have much life left myself so a simple air combo was going to kill me. My life drained away down to the very last pixel and the very next hit was going to kill me and win him the game, but just in the nick of time the grenade Chris shot upward (which I thought Wesker interuppted and it never even shot) killed him instead. Leaving me with a magic pixel myself.

Like I know of Chris' upwards grenade shots killing people, but to have barley survived long enough for it to come back down and win me the game was just amazing. I wish I recorded it.

On paper Nemesis seems like a blast. I mean he is fun to play but only having 1 low hitting attack sucks hard. Also it does not help that his super armor is not that good. I can never open people up with him. I try to use his antiair grab the way I use skrulls and Shehulks, but it reaches WAY to high to punish a regular jump most of the time.

His level 3 is garbage. His IDGAF. Needs to have some type of start up invul to be useful. Still love him though

This ***** had a Pheonix team. I messed up the TAC thing so just ran the timer. He gets a few lucky (and I mean LUCKY) hits on my last character and he wins by timeout when Pheonix's health was only like a cm longer than Spiderman's.

This game is SO good.
