Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

I just played a guy on PSN named SINNER1221. His team was Storm/Morrigan/Phoenix. I killed Storm fairly easily with Phoenix on point, swapped out to Nova and he brought in Phoenix. I turned her into Dark Phoenix, which resulted in both of my teammates dying. He X-Factored, and tried to mix my Phoenix up with traps on entry. I X-Factored, blocked the chip damage, and proceeded to destroy Dark Phoenix and Morrigan. As soon as the K.O. screen appeared, he disconnected. What a poor sport.

EDIT: Just OCVed a Dante/Vergil/Hawkeye team with Phoenix. Let the salt flow.

Lol Serris I fought that same dudeast week and bodied him. Once I snapped in Phoenix he fell for my mixup and she died. I then comfortably beat his team. He rage quit on me as well

That's because both iterations of the game have sold better on the PS3. More players means more salt.

But yeah, the synergy on that team's just way good.

Just found out that Phoenix can make her teleports safe so long as she uses Phoenix Rage right as she appears. The invincibility from the hyper outlasts the hitbox from Spell of Vishanti. Strange is no longer a Phoenix counter.

Maximum Spider to "Mine Super", tag in Spiderman to use web throw after you hit with the mine. Repeat

I'm learning my "Rocket" Science so fast lol.

My official team is RR/Frank/Chris

RR uses Chris' gunfire to mixup, get a combo with 2 bars and Frank instantly becomes level 5.

Skip logtrap and use Rock 'n' Roll, dhc out to Frank's Survival Techniques, it whiffs and then you use snapshot + pendulum assist, first shapshot makes Frank Lv4, second shapshot makes Frank Lvl5. You skip logtrap because that way the assist version of logtrap will wallbounce and allow Frank to get a second snapshot.

Also, Survival Techniques into Madhopper, hard tag Frank, snapshot, repeat.

Other synergy
Chris can connect Grenade Launcher after Frank's Survival Techniques
Chris can connect Grenade Launcher with Pendulum Assist
Frank can use Gunfire Assist for mixups
Frank can use Pendulum Assist for continued combos after snapshot otg.
RR can use Frank's Meter Gain assist while hiding behind traps
