Soccer Smash

In this special game mode you are in either a omega or Battlefeild mode of a random stage, in each side of the stage is a glowing zone that acts as a goal, periodically three types balls will spawn, the soccer ball which acts the same as before but significantly weaker in attack, the football which is worse in arc distance but superior in arc height, and the basketball which is Visa versa to the stats of the football being weaker in arc height but stronger in arc length. Each ball has a rare gold variant worth 3 points while the normal varieties is worth 1 point each.

Their are two varieties to this mode, free for all where each team tries to get as many balls into the other opponents side before time runs out and talley mode which involves getting a certain score of balls before the opponent.

This game is available for 3 on 3, 2 on 2, and 1 on 1 players.

Words to describe it:

Quirky: Its smash soccer, what do you expect, if this is not quirky I don't know what is

Poppy: a potentially unique and standout experience

Chaotic: since the game focuses on hitting a small ball rather than the player this word would be a good way to describe it.

We have two jobs for us coming next. You can do both if you wish or just do one of them.

Job #117: Submit a New Mode that Focuses on “Party Elements”

Unlike the previous game mode job, this one will be its own unique game mode in the Multiplayer section of the menu content screen. As mentioned, this is a mode that focuses fully on party elements while being distinct enough from traditional Versus elements to warrant its own game mode section.

Here are some other criteria:
1. It is only multiplayer, it can’t be single player
2. It can be online capable
3. The elements should prioritize wacky, chaotic, hype-inducing game play with trace elements of luck and RNG in order to achieve “party elements”.

Character Costume Job #2: Barista

We will be including alternate colors and costumes for the Rhyhm Heaven character, Barista. It seems that we never came to a census about if we should provide recolors for summoned elements so we don’t pursue this at the time being.

Please ineidiate the following when making your submission:
1. Source name and picture to better visualize it
2. What color category it fits in (Red, Dark Blue, White, etc)
3. Brief description of the alternate color or costume and how it would look. Please make sure to highlight key elements such Barista’s headphones and cheeks.
4. Why should the color be included? What’s the relevance? Is it iconic? Does it deserve being referenced? Please provide some back up to why it should be included.

Foot Race

A crazy footrace to the finish! Based on Smash Run's "Run!" finale, Foot Race supports up to 15 fighters on screen at a time thanks to online play and puts you in different obstacle courses based on games with predetermined layouts but randomised hazards based on some of the items used in casual play (such as Bumpers, Smart Bombs, Uniras, e.t.c.) and certain moveset elements. (Jr's Mechakoopas, Steve's minecart, Pac-Man's hydrant for example) Similar to Subspace, character stats are modified for this mode - characters who are usually immobile like Incineroar or Little Mac have a fighting, er, racing chance, the big speedsters like Captain Falcon and Sonic are slowed down slightly, and high jumpers like Jigglypuff have a bit more weight to them. Some mobility-boosting items like Super Leafs and Bunny Hoods will occasionally show up, but they don't last as long as they do in a fight. You can attack foes who are close to you.

Hello potential developer!

Welcome to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Sequel Project - now known as Super Smash Bros. Infinite! We are very excited to see that you have expressed interest in joining our project. Here are some FAQs regarding our project:

Is this actually going to be a fan game?
Unfortunately, this is just a creative brainstorming project. We are only coming up with ideas on how this game will function, what characters it will have, and how different it will be from its predecessor, Ultimate.

Cool! How do I submit a character/stage/assist trophy/etc.?
This project is run on a job-by-job basis. This means that the thread creator, Venus of the Desert Bloom Venus of the Desert Bloom Venus of the Desert Bloom Venus of the Desert Bloom or the Executive Assistants, ( Ramen Tengoku Ramen Tengoku Ramen Tengoku Ramen Tengoku , Mr. Robotto , Krookodilian Krookodilian Krookodilian Krookodilian , and airConditioner airConditioner airConditioner airConditioner ) will be providing prompts regularly for us developers to answer. These prompts can range from specific (Submit a Halloween Themed character) to vague (Suggest a new first-party franchise for our next character). Once some time has passed after the prompt is given, we will vote on the suggestions, with the winning suggestion(s) making it to the final game. This means that we won't have the opportunity to suggest characters/stages/etc. until the prompt itself is given to us. Furthermore, when we do add characters, keep in mind that we try to keep the newcomers different. For example, after having Jill & Leon as our Game Awards newcomers, we were unable to submit Officer Howard as our next newcomer because they would be too similar (anime cop with a gun that kills otherworldly monsters). This doesn't mean that you would not be able to suggest them again later, it just means we can't have two similar characters back to back. Again, we will have specific times to suggest characters, so please hold onto your ideas for then!

What about Spirits and Music?
As with other parts of the game, we will be submitting spirits on a case-by-case basis, in order to account for the work our Spirit Team does. The two main times we will submit spirits will be after a new character is revealed and when a spirit event is made. Spirit events are week long submissions that are themed around a particular... theme. This can be things like holidays, such as Easter, genres, such as fighting games, to more abstract concepts, like inanimate objects. We do have set rules, about submitting spirits, however. During spirit events, we will only accept 3 submissions per user and each submission is approved based on the discretion of the Spirit Team. Some examples of spirits that will be rejected are real life hardware, such as gaming consoles and accessories, spirits with no official art, and spirits that will increase the age rating. Additionally, when submitting spirits, it is highly encouraged to follow the format listed below to provide the Spirits Team with the information required to add them to the wiki.

In terms of music, we have a document on the main page. Music will be added periodically to prevent the document from filling up too fast. Each universe has a cap number, such as 40, that will be the maximum number of allowed songs. Additionally, this cap will be capped by a second, temporary cap, so you it is presented as 15/40. This means that of the 40 songs that will be added throughout the project's lifespan, only 15 will be accepted at the moment. This cap is raised every so often, and the maximum may be increased by adding a stage/character to the project later on. Like with spirits, we will be accepting music on a case-by-case basis. Songs that have difficulty negotiating for, songs with little to no relation with Nintendo or the characters in the project, or series with too many songs will be removed. Fan remixes are allowed, provided you give credit.

Wait, a wiki?
Yeah, we have a cool wiki. You'll find almost everything related to the project on this site.

That's about all I can think of for the project right now! Please enjoy your stay and we look forward to working with you!
Hi, please refer to this post on the first page to see how we work. Currently we are working on a new fun multiplayer mode (example: see Wario Wario Wario's suggestion) as well as voting on a new gamemode. Thank you for your interest and we hope you enjoy your stay!

Barista's Color Palette

1622864034912.png
DJ Yellow

This color changes Barista's entire body into a yellow tint, the cheek is still the same color but his headphone will be replaced by the one worn by him (some character also possesses same color palette including
The Yellow Rapmen from RAPMEN and Güiro Lizards to name a few).

While I know he is mostly a one-off character I chooses him because he has a headphone and I already been thinking about him to be Barista's color palette long before this job.

2. Zone Control (Why aren't we calling it King of the Hill/King of the Ring?)
The only reason I didn't call it that was because I forgot lol.

Job 117

Smash Tour 2.0

This would take the basic mechanics from Smash tour original.

There would be many different game boards, At least 1 Board per series, each of them varying in Size and shape.

Battle spaces are upgraded, There can be standard battles like in the original there are also more Special Battle types, The new battles alter the arena in some way using one of the many spirit effects (Slumber Floor, Strong Wind etc.)

Spirits are added to the board, picking up spirits you can equip them before a fight. These replace Items.

Spirits can be obtained by landing on a spirit space. or by completing special battles.

There are more random events.

------------------------------------

Costume Job 2

Purple.

Barista's Body would be Colored Purple and his headphones would go white and black, This is a reference to a handful of Rhythm Heaven Characters

Costume Job #2 Barista: Karate Joe (Grey)
SSBU_spirit_Karate_Joe.png

THis color changes the entirety of Barista to a monochromatic dirty gray. His body, his headphones, even his blush, all gray. All to match the character of Karate Joe.

Submitting this pallete due to Joe being a notable character for the RH series, and his monochromatic scheme honestly being pretty iconic and would make for a cool swap

As the other masoct of the Rhythm Heaven series, and a common color, Orange as represented by the Rhythm Heaven Monkey makes sense to be included imo.

I also think that Forthington makes more sense for a Yellow alt than DJ Yellow, considering Forthington is much more prominent and is also an animal.

Well, like I said before there's many RH character that share the same color palette, animal or not, so I probably don't need to state a specific character like what Cash did with the color purple. This doesn't really apply if that character has a unique color palette like Joe however.

Just to let people know, it’s perfectly fine to submit an alternate color that someone else submits. If there are two Alt colors that cover the same color, we will hold a vote.

Also, this is how I envisioned my recolor look like. It's just fitting for him to have a different kind of hat honestly, I mean his whole body is just plain black and white like Jigglypuff who's entire body is pink.

Job #117: Zombie Smash

Upon starting out, less than half of the players are infected zombies. There isn’t any visual indication that someone is a zombie other than behavior making it very creepy.

The number of players who are initially infected but typically in 8 player local Smash, between one or two players are infected. If playing online, than it comes out to 2/8ths. The minimum amount of players that can be accepted are 16 so from there, 4 can be Infected. 8 players on a local set up can join in on a Zombie Server so this set up allows for two teams of 8 players. The screen is set up so on a local match, it shares the same screen unless players get close together and then the screen splits apart.

The goal is for the zombie to try and infect as many people as possible. This is done by whittling the opponents health percentage from 50% to 0%. This causes the opponent to “die” and return as a zombie. A zombie can be killed if the reach 50% to 0%. That being said, Zombies have a much higher damage threshold and take little damage and knockback from attacks. If all the zombies are defeated, than the non-zombies win. If the zombies manage to infect everyone, than the zombies win. If non-zombies defeat another non-zombie (goes does to 0%), that renders them “unconscious” this prone to being attack for 30 seconds by a zombie. This can be used to sacrifice another player instead of getting attacked yourself.

Finally, to add an RNG factor, certain items can spawn from a loot box (it takes the appearance of a dilapidated crate) that will help survivors gain the advantage. Zombies can break open the boxes but can’t use the items inside. Some items will be made available only for this mode but, should we vote on it, then we can decide what these items can be. I would imagine it would protect from being zombified for 20 seconds or do more damage to zombies.

This helps create a frantic, chaotic atmosphere with incorporated an RNG feature. The fact that no one knows who the zombies are helps further this sense of chaotic’ness.

Costume Job #2

Pastel pink. His cheeks would be white.

Reasoning: it'd look good on the Barista. Based loosely on the Sea Mammals, the dolphins specifically. However, he wouldn't have a white underbelly.
It also works for Baxter. Question though, what color would the headphones be. It’s a small detail but important given that’s his one defining feature.

Barista Color

Reference: Dog Ninja
Color: Dark Blue
Appearance: Barista would have a a dark blue fur color with lighter blue cheek blushes. His headphone band would be grey and the headphones themselves would be white.
Reason: Dog Ninja is a reoccurring element of the games and has quite an evolution from beginning to now. Plus, he is a canine like Barista.

No real good ideas but want to submit something so here we go

Job 117:

Item Lottery

This mode starts as a regular Smash fight, but with a twist. At 30 second intervals a wave of random items will drop onto the stage. All items are available and the rules can fit any way you wish to play. The items can be anything from home run bats to pokeballs to Mr Saturns. The idea behind this is that it'll be an extremely chaotic mode where the fight can change at the drop of a dime. There will also be a random chance that you can select what item drops in when you get a prompt on screen with one item being repped by arrow button on the joy con. Successfully completing a taunt in the direction will result in that being the item that falls in, and other players can prevent the taunting player from successfully selecting an item

Territorial Conquest

So the main mechanic is that there is a large map colored gray, each of the players spawn in a random corner of the map, by landing on a space you get one of many effects, such as an item shop for powerups, a new hire able character, or a battle quest to gain territory

This game is designed as a longer mode taking a total of many hours with salable games, it plays a more rpg style game where your a mii and your job is too collect tereitory from the other parts of the map before you collect the most territory than your other opponents, you can hire fighters as your soilders who act as pawns in battle scenes, you can also use your powers to sic enemies into your opponents territory

Basically is Civiliazation was a smash mode

#118: Let’s Add Masterpieces!

Yes, we are bringing Masterpieces back!! In case you forgot, Masterpieces are small versions of games that comes from the franchises represented in Smash. You can see the full list here!

We will be including more later on but for now, we are limiting Masterpieces from the following generations:
NES
GB
SNES
GBC

In addition, we are also including one more:
N64

While there may be some pushback on this, we are limiting submissions to only franchises that are either repped by a characters or a stage and fits within one of these generations. So, sorry, games repped by any other than these two are currently not up for submissions. Games from non-Nintendo system games are eligible but only if they can coincide with the N64 or later Gen timeframes. When submitting, please assume that we are including all of the previous masterpieces from Smash 4. When submitting, please submit an entirely new Masterpiece to include.

When submitting, please include the following info:
 • Name of the game
 • Franchise it’s from
 • Duration (8 minute max)
 • Where it starts at
 • Reasons supporting for its inclusion

Failing to include the final two may result in one of the leaders asking more info on it. Also please note that spin-off games can technically be allowed but may be denied by the leadership team if the source material lacks enough reason to warrant an inclusion.

Super Mario 64

Duration: 8 Minutes

Starts at: Beginning of the game

Reasons:

One of the most iconic video games of all time, and the pioneer of the 3D platformer that inspired countless games in the genre, Super Mario 64 speaks for itself as a shoo in for a Masterpieces collection in Smash. Countless iconic aspects of the Mario franchise were debuted in this game, and much of Mario's appearance in the first Smash Bros title took many aspects from this game as it was the newest main series title at the time.

Can we add masterpieces from non-nintendo games from these generations? Stuff like Sonic the Hedgehog or Final Fantasy VII?
Any franchise that currently is repped by a character or stage and is from N64 and later. This also includes games on other systems including Sega and PlayStation but must coincide with the N64 timeframe v
