Durian, do you enjoy pieces like that? I hate wacky acrobatic let's-see-how-high-and-fast-i-can-play violin solos. They don't work for me.

Yeah, adagio for strings is very nice. My recording is by St. Louis Symph and Leonard Slatkin. Some people don't give them enough credit.

My favorite piece of all time is the Ravel's ballet, Daphnis et Chloe. Fifty five minutes of awesome. My favorite recording of it is Montreal/Dutoit. No one does debussy/ravel like montreal/dutoit.

Miraculously, my sleep schedule arranged itself for 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM, just in time for the tourney. I didn't manipulate it at all.. it just fixed itself. My subconscious must be eager for smash.
