Actually, how do you feel about asking those 3 why they shouldn't stump and then going from there?

Yeah, it is true that I never really finished my analysis, and to be quite honest I don't attend to anymore. When I was going to make the second part of my analysis, a lot more posts were added. To be honest, I don't have the heart or energy to finish my analysis. Yes I'm lazy.Sworddancer.:
He's done some form of scum hunting and he was doing decently early on. But I have noticed some things I don't like about him.
First off, his analysis. At #154, he promised to finish his analysis in the next post. Nine days later and it's still not here. That means he has a lot to catch up on.
I'd also like for you people to know that when Brockin was getting close to jumping the shark (AKA stumping), Sworddancer took part in parroting Cello Marl, which I find scummy.
On top of that, after his decent early Day 1 game, he went inactive and he didn't post much. I'm guilty of the same thing, but at least I muster up the commited to avoid prods. Sworddancer has been guilty of this.
So far, he's looking slightly scummy to me and I wouldn't mind him stumping.
Omis said:#58: Plain and simple really strong town post. I like
You may want to correct that. You mean you mostly commented on bad posts in your opinion?Omis said:#207: I really like this post. It has a strong point and he put forth an adamant opinion that he has to stand behind.
I need you to please explain to me how someone who is 'softly distancing' himself more scummy/suspicious then someone who is not taking much of a stance? I fail to see Mentos more town then what you give credit for.Alright, read pages 21-26. Now that I've seen that, I'm much less confident in mentos being town. Although his initial townie read on Cello is good, as time goes on, he receives heat for it and backs off, saying Cello not stumping has hurt his town read. The thing is though, he clearly understood the benefits of Cello not stumping immediately (to provoke reactions that wouldn't happen once Cello was cleared). So, he shouldn't have had a problem with Cello staying unstumped for a few days. Sure, if Cello was still unstumped after a week and deadline was approaching I'd have a problem with it, but a few days is fine, IMO.
Also, a lot of his recent posts seem more focused on self-defense and staying alive rather then scumhunting.
Unfortuantely, I don't really see a whole lot of interaction between him and Pierre (correct me if I'm wrong on this), so no read from that.
So, Mentos is now neutral-leaning scum.
Cello, I'll take you up on the SSBF-Omis-Mentos offer.
In accordance,
Virtual vote: SSBF
It feels manufactured. I mean, it's minor 1-line things, but I really don't like the way SSBF went back to them and is like "HA, look at this! And you say I never attacked Pierre". It just really feels like scum covering their 6 should their scumbuddy be lynched.I need you to please explain to me how someone who is 'softly distancing' himself more scummy/suspicious then someone who is not taking much of a stance?
There are lots of people I'd rather lynch then the_man. Although he's been inactive lately, I just think Ryker has computer troubles. No idea what's up with Xonar though.I fail to see Mentos more town then what you give credit for.
I don't see SSBF much as scum. >>
Really don't like how swordsdancer is lurking/posting habbits. Really needs to be more active. I would put sworddancer right next to he-man. I would much rather sworddancer lynch over the-man.
Have you never heard of the concept of bussing? Pierre never really went hard after him either.I guess Omis being targeted by mafia pierre makes him town, but I'm not gonna fully buy that. I still feel that Omis can play townie better then that. I never remember him to parrot others constantly while town.
Not following you. Not at all. However, if Nich comes off as scum, I'll be more incline to believe Omis is town (mainly cause his dislike to lynching mentos)
Whatever, Rockin.Mentos
Nicholas
Sworddancer
The-man
that's my order of stump/lynching.
Ryker does not have computer troubles. He will be back tomorrow. Also, I don't see why tHe-Man has any excuse to not be active in the game. Xonar is still able to play Mafia, so we should have seen some contents from him today.Nicholas1024 said:There are lots of people I'd rather lynch then the_man. Since it doesn't look like we'll get much from Pierre's posts, let's look at other's posts about Pierre. SSBF and Omis both had similar relationships with Pierre... minor clashes, but nothing major. Let's look at the case for each.unvote
I don't understand what I did to attract this needless attention. Cello says I'm scummy but doesn't compound on it ever, and then tHe-Man agrees with him? And neither is doing anything about it but brow beating. How am I supposed to quell your qualms, let alone determine if you are scum or just ****ty town, without hearing what you have to say about me? Today's added vote is also terribad and I suspect she just found a reason to stealth onto a bandwagon. Also, Today is being replaced?
I'm very put off by tHe-Man's "I will talk about Pierre later" twice, as well as Cello's "Pierre is scummy," then "I'll let tHe-Man talk about Pierre." FOS to the two of you.
Cello says that he thinks I am scum and he thinks that HeatStroke is scum. He does not provide any reasons for thinking I'm scum, and his reason for thinking HeatStroke is scum is a contradiction that I found. If I were scum and if HeatStroke is scum, I would not have pointed out the contradiction, so this doesn't make sense. Cello is lining up lynches using other peoples reasoning so he doesn't take the fall when we are wrong. I am less convinced by what I found HeatStroke saying by the fact that Cello is pouncing on it so very very hard.
vote: Cello
@Cello: I don't think HeatStroke is scummy, I think that you are.
I would love to hear what *The Jester* and Sworddancer. have to input. I'm having a hard time gauging Paprika and Omis. Brockin seems to talk more about himself and his hydra than anything else. I feel like Cello is scum, I am put off by tHe-Man for his random "Pierre is scum" but has nothing else to say, Today doesn't seem very town by just chiming in to vote me for a bad reason.
Omis hadn't drawn a ton of heat yet, so I think this is a genuine attack, and the two are opposite alignments.@HeatStroke: He should be an lower priority. I say let's go after Omis.
Okay, so it wasn't quite a weak attack against Cello. Does it matter? Cello's confirmed town.@Nicholas1024: You said that Pierre The Scarecrow was weakly attacking Cello Marl. I disagree. Most of his posts were directed at Cello Marl, he even placed a vote on him for a long while. I think Pierre The Scarecrow put in a lot of efforts on his attacks against Cello Marl.
Take it in the mouth skank.Omis:
First act of scummiess was when he decided to talk about gameplay mechanics when we already had an serious discussion going, which looks like an attempt to derail the thread.
Pretty hardcore following of others here. You pretty much echoed the same sentiment The Man (person generally thought to be town) said. Except, OH WAIT, what he said didnt have merit.
Until Cello Marl fliped town, he for the most part spent most of the game echoing what Cello Marl said. Then when he realized that Cello Marl didn't immediately stump himself he said "Oh, I don't trust him". This would be fine if Cello fliped scum, and it was earlier since we had no idea of Cello's alignment, but I'm not going to let this fly. Not only that, it parrots what Mentosman8 said against Cello Marl when he didn't stump immediately as he promised.
I did not understand what you are trying to get at from the second or third sentence onward. Rephrase.
He has also done minimal scum hunting in the game. All he's done for the most part is asks questions.
Then what apparently is this "pro" scum hunting you expect from people.
Only two posts from him can even be considered decent at best, Just two. They were #93 and #429. Everything else has been mostly fluff.
I dont believe I posted too much fluff.
He has an very scummy read in my eyes. I was really disappiointed with Omis here. In the Social Thread, he challenged us to beat him. Sadly, it looks like he's not putting much effort to live up to his name.
This is a lie to make me look bad seeing as how I never posted that in the Social Thread.
Why Pierre? Supposedly, they agreed with me that he was scum (and still have yet to provide why they thought as such). They were absolutely fine with Brockin and Heatstroke stumping though.tHe-Man said:Before we get at Pierre like Cello suggested, I rather discuss with Ryker first. I think we need to get some reads straight before I go around posting. Sleeping sucks guys, especially with timezone bullshizzle.
It's pretty simple: I feel you wouldn't want to force a stump/lynch on your scum buddies. Not following you. Not at all.
Your argument, to put it nicely, sucks. At least Sworddancer manage to put up decent effort to challenge me and I'm still thinking of how to response to him. After reading this post once, I managed to create an argument against you. Try again. But I'll give you an reward:Omis said:Take it in the mouth skank.Super Smash Bros. Fan said:Omis:

tHe-Man statement is valid. You asked HeatStroke of what he thinked of Lynch All Lairs. That kind of question qualifies as something that would be in an Random Question Stage or something you would put in the Social Thread, not something you add during a middle of an serious discussion. Beginning of game or you shouldn't ask that type of question in this game.

During the time Cello Marl's role was unknown, you spent the majority of the time echoing what he said. Cello Marl made an promise to HeatStroke that he would stump once HeatStroke did. When HeatStroke stumped himself, Cello Marl lied and decided not to stump. Later on, you got after him and said that you didn't trust him nearly as much due to him not immediately stumping. If Cello Marl was scum, I would have left this alone, but why should I spare this comment since Cello Marl fliped town? This also a parroting of what Mentosman8 said when Cello Marl didn't immediately stump.
There, happy?

There are far more professional players like you. People who do "pro" scum hunting examine motives, the way they post, the contents the post has, and if it reveals any scummy evidence. They look for townie posts, scummy posts, and maybe null posts. They create solid cases against who they think commited the most scum tells in the game and stand good chances of getting there desired player lynched (And stumped in this type of Mafia games). They also do it in there own way that makes it somewhat hard for inexperience players to suspect them. As you are one of these people, I was expecting a lot better out of you.

You have posted a lot of fluff. I admit I do as well, but at least I know that I make mistakes. Most of your posts has minimal contents in the game. Just look your post over. People will agree that your post are mostly fluffs and don't really contribute much to the game.

I should have repharse that. What I meant to say was that you wanted to see if we improved. You wanted to see if we've gotten good yet. Apprently, some people have. I was really hoping to see you be an decent player. However, you really have underwhelmed my expectation.
