LOLYour sister plays Smash? is she married?
The problem is that if you happen to be in the downhill slant Zelda'll, unlike usually when she's under the enemy, be almost helpless against Marth. Since he also outmaneuvers Zelda he'll probably be able to utilize the stage better, at least based on my experiences.Lylat as well... I find the tilts raise me up closer to his Fair spacing game so I try to position myself on the higher slants if possible for a dash attack OoS.
Take him to Luigi's Good Game.We are already pretty deep into the Marth discussion >_> Perhaps after if everyone agrees.
I know but I wanted to know how viable Zelda is as a CP for falcoI agree that we should wait until we agree on Marth a bit more.
Also, it's Zeld's thread, not yours. x.o
Well that isn't a reason to say stuff like "Do this we done move on 'cause I wanna." It makes you sound very rude and inpolite like you'd think you own the place... I'm sure that people'll be more eager to help you out if you just settle for asking instead.I know but I wanted to know how viable Zelda is as a CP for falco
^^^^So like yeah can we discuss falco instead of Marth.
I did ask.Well that isn't a reason to say stuff like "Do this we done move on 'cause I wanna." It makes you sound very rude and inpolite like you'd think you own the place... I'm sure that people'll be more eager to help you out if you just settle for asking instead.
As for platforms vs no platforms, both of the characters get nice benefits when they're under a platform and their enemies are on top of one. For Zelda this means her defencive game is greatly enhanced and for Marth it means he'll be causing huge amount of pressure (both to shield and otherwise) with spaced Fairs and other aerials.
Fix'dAfter we finish discussing Marth, could we discuss counterpicks for Falco?
After which you went into this:I did ask.
Which really served no purpose whatsoever. Your way of asking also sounded somewhat rude.Take him to Luigi's Good Game.
Falco discussion gogo.
I was trying to motivate people to discuss falco that's all. After which you went into this:
Which really served no purpose whatsoever. Your way of asking also sounded somewhat rude.
However, lets not dwell on the matter any more, it's practically the same as spamming this thread. If something still needs to be said about this there're PMs for that.
*Continues discussion about CP stages for Marth*
What do you mean by play form trips? How does the no edge benefit us more than him?* Right side of the stage is worse for him than us.
* Platform trips = lightning kick (nice long platforms). The situation is rare, but it's there for the kill when it comes.
* Assymetrical first layout - lots of places where he'll need to reposition his spacing, could increase the likelihood of mispaces.
Rofl. Yeeees, my plan is turning out nicely. =XI've evolved into Kaylo in the way this post was laid out
Zelda can do **** like that? Does that only work on this stage or can you do it on every platform?Because everytime you get a trip on a platform using dtilt, you can buffer a turn-around, drop through the platform and immediately sweetspot Bair them whilst they're in tripping stun. HSS will put a video up once our wiis register and I can send it to him. The situation can arise moreso on Frigate because the platforms are fairly large.
And the edge - Mars pretty much said it. Just sweetspot him as he lands. If he doesn't land, it means he hasn't made the stage and is about to SD.
Every drop-through platform in the game. It works simply because trip causes them too much stun to recover in time to dodge the attack and by dropping through she can sweetspot an enemy of any size.Zelda can do **** like that? Does that only work on this stage or can you do it on every platform?
Every drop-through platform...
Isn't this the type of thing that should be in the Great fair fountain thread? Like i've been playing Zelda for a while now and this is the first I've heard of this.Every drop-through platform in the game. It works simply because trip causes them too much stun to recover in time to dodge the attack and by dropping through she can sweetspot an enemy of any size.
I'm also fairly sure that KayLo! meant you should ask this and any following questions concerning the subject.
Edit: Kata beat me to it.
It is in there -_-'... it's brand new find. The last pages contain posts discussing it.Isn't this the type of thing that should be in the Great fair fountain thread? Like i've been playing Zelda for a while now and this is the first I've heard of this.
Stages to CP vs. Falco. I dunno, you seemed like you were in a rush, so I thought maybe you needed to know for a tourney or something..... in which case, you could ask in the Q&A thread for a quick, non-in-depth answer.@kaylo ask what in the Q&A thread?
Ah thats why i didn't see it i only read the first page.It is in there -_-'... it's brand new find. The last pages contain posts discussing it.
No rush I just don't know how to CP falco. I came big from a tourney yesterday and CP frigate with waro and was wonderinf if Zelda would of been the better choice on that stage. I also wanted to see what stages other people like then firgure out if Zelda as a back up is worth it.Stages to CP vs. Falco. But if you can wait, then ignore this, hehe. I was just trying to give you another option if you were in dire need of stages for him ASAP.
I have the CG from 52> 120 or something along those lines. Falco also has the CG on both characters putting them at a huge dis advantage. Zelda is for d3 but I think she could also be an alternative against falco and also be of use against diddy and pikachu and other silly match ups like peach and luigi. I know what the ratio's say but I don't agree with them.If you're playing Wario you have like an 100% chaingrab on Falco...........Zelda shouldn't even be needed. In fact with DK and Wario playing Zelda as well is kind of.........well a waste of time/making things harder on yourself for no reason.
That's weird marth should be able to wreck on that stage. Marth is very good on all the nuetrals and PS1 and Seige. Those are his best stages his worst stage is Rainbow cruise which is also terrible for Zelda. Brinstar may be a good CP but IDK i don't have any EXP against marth there. But I still think LM is your best bet. Since the bottom floor will make SH approaches harder.I hate FD and Lylat against marth.
my best luck has probably actually come from Pokemon Stadium.
Iunno... like I said "luck" my best luck has come there. it must just be a weird "personal styles" thingThat's weird marth should be able to wreck on that stage. Smashville is alright I guess just gotta try to gimp him.Yeah, it is a personal perference for this one I think. I take Marth to Smashville and FD. Maybe Ill just leave battlefield out of this completely.
Why do we say its not? Explain please This is why I asked.why do we say FD is good?
